Insecurity brings closeness, and closeness brings ignorance. Ignorance, usually implies fear. The moments I’ve felt more fearful in this space is when I felt trapped in polarized echo chambers. Whether it was - “Remember to take profits, Anon.” - or - “Take everything off your exchanges, we’re going to zero.” Observing, I discovered a lot of folks are on Twitter trying to feed their confirmation bias. What is that? It’s simply the will to look for confirmations of our own thesis with facts. The problems here are multiple, but there is one you can try to avoid: Falling for “Echo Chambers” . I’ve never experienced strong Echo Chambers as when I got into Crypto/NFT Twitter. I’d always remember FTX drama and how alleged “leaked informations”, “twitter spaces” or also group chats were so polarizing on different opinions. Funny to think that the only truth was no one knew the truth. Ngl felt bad on that crash. Felt almost like the first Pandemic days, where literally no one knew what would happen next. The mainstream media at the time was all a big “Echo Chamber”. Do you remember, Anon? One moment you were feeling safe and in harmony with the universe, the next you’d get into a rabbit hole that confirmed everything would get destroyed/go to zero. Rinse and repeat. And the more curious you are, the more it gets you. Eventually, time would have told the truth, but the emotions were there, and fear, when things got over, rapidly changed into “anger” towards both the situation and my reaction to it. But that feeling sparked a light. It’s like I felt I captured the zeitgeist in that moment. I wanted to let it out. So I came up with “Echo Chambers”. We’re so small in this big economic world that sometimes we just need to chill and remember that everything will eventually be okay, the human race ALWAYS finds a way, and everything is cyclical. At the same time we need to manage risks and don’t get caught on greed. I’ve really never done it properly, am #rekt, in fact, but learning from errors and not blaming others for my mistakes will get me there. And for all this...
