There’s this guy who has been asking my colleague out. He owns a small restaurant on the Island, and every day by 12pm, he sends his dispatch rider to bring lunch for her. When I say lunch, I don’t mean small chops o. I’m talking correct stir-fry pasta, hot party jollof, sometimes assorted pepper soup with rice, etc. He literally made a food menu for her. So by 11am, she’s already anticipating correct food by 12pm. One of my colleagues jokingly said, “I hope you’re dating this man o, because he’s really intentional about you.” This babe opened her mouth and said, “Dating who? I can’t date him o. He’s not my type. I just love the food, so let me keep giving him false hope.” Yesterday, the man didn’t send lunch, so we were curious. We noticed she kept checking her phone every minute, waiting for the dispatch rider’s call. By 2pm, she called the man to find out why he hadn’t sent food. The guy told her to give him a response, yes or no, on whether she was going to date him so he could channel his time and attention elsewhere. This babe started shouting, “So because of your rubbish food that you bring every day, you’re giving me an ultimatum to choose whether I’ll date you or not?” Before she could complete the sentence, the guy hung up on her. 😂😂😂 Her eyes were looking red. Everybody in the office was just laughing at her. She thinks she’s Miss Universe. Glad the guy finally knows his worth. You don’t want to date somebody, but you love eating his food. 😂 My gender!

🚨 Inter Lagos coach Olusanjo Olutayo questions how players earning elite league wages still struggle with the basic principles of football.

A coach calling players cowards is unprofessional and abusive. Except that it’s in the players contact or agreement, calling a footballer coward for whatever reason is a bad personal management talk more of player management. As much as I understand the game, I can’t with this.

The very behavior that would make Nigerian football lovers hail a European coach is the same thing they are dragging the Inter Lagos manager. We are unique sha.

Tbh, I understand the coach’s frustration. He inherited a struggling team mid-season, but his harsh approach towards the players might do more harm than good, especially when he’s yet to establish himself with major silverware. Also, his touchline appearance could improve. Sometimes, how you present yourself influences how players perceive your authority and professionalism. He could walk past me at the stadium and I genuinely wouldn’t recognise him as a coach. Coaching isn’t just about tactics. Man-management, composure and presentation matter too.
