Local people can’t afford to purchase these.
There isn’t a housing shortage just an affordability issue.

Report to Local Authority. So many things wrong here. Landlord will be in for a shock!
Ok - I need some advice on a Landlord please.
My daughter rents a one bedroom flat, in a block, in Warwick.
The Landlord has telephoned her today and said that because of the government’s intervention and his mortgage repayments he needed to ask her to alter her rent payments.
Firstly, it’s very confusing because he stated that he’s running at a loss but if she agreed to his new payment method he would deduct £50 a month.
The new payment method he wants her to use is £500 paid via her Bank as usual and then £600 on top in CASH to fulfil the rent price. He’s saying he will come and collect the cash every month.
This, to me, sounds like some kind of tax evasion and I don’t think she should do it. Also the government’s policies do not take effect until April of next year.
Can anyone help me please?
