The number one issue that drove Latinos to vote Democratic this year — apparently a key reason that Texas went blue — was Trump’s mass deportation policies.
Thus, it’s interesting to see the demand on the right for doubling down on this strategy.

I told you. Miller wanted this outcome. That's why he and his wife didn't even vote, and he did nothing to change policy to prevent total collapse. It's all so he could have total control of the government. Be prepared for the worst.

A very bad sign for any potential efforts to seek the kind of compromise that Americans are looking for on immigration.
In 2018, Miller personally killed a deal for $25 billion for border wall in exchange for the DREAM Act (which usually polls at 70-80% support).

Remember when all the Big Tech, Wall Street, Big Law, media, and universities bent the knee to Trump? That was less than two years ago.

This is an absolute massacre for Republicans. It might be the worst environment seen in the last 40+ years. They're losing South Carolina, on track to lose Texas, and are getting the rug pulled out from under them with Hispanics and working-class whites.

Very early, but I'm starting to think we won't all be getting $5000 checks.
I voted but to be honest it was pretty anti climatic as the Wiener vs Chan election is not in my district. I voted for Muni funding and the RTM. I skipped voting for governor as I am not too excited about Becerra. For most props and measures I voted no. I skipped every position I have never heard of.
