הדיווח על תקיפת דיפלומטים זרים בידי פורעים יהודים ביהודה ושומרון הוא אירוע חמור ומסוכן המחייב תגובה מיידית ונחרצת.
קואליציית נתניהו-סמוטריץ׳ מטביעה את כולנו בים של טרור. אני מתריע כבר זמן רב מפני התגברות הטרור היהודי ביהודה ושומרון, הפגיעה בשלטון החוק והסכנה לביטחון ישראל, לחיילי צה״ל ולמעמדנו הבינלאומי.
עמדתי ברורה: יש להילחם בטרור היהודי ביד ברזל, בדיוק כפי שנלחמים בטרור הפלסטיני. להחזיר את השימוש במעצרים מנהליים נגד פעילי טרור יהודי מסוכנים, בהתאם לחוק, לפרק את מוקדי הטרור, לפנות מאחזים בלתי חוקיים, לעצור את הפורעים ולהעמידם לדין.
ברגע שנחזור לשלטון צה״ל, שב״כ ומשטרת ישראל יקבלו גיבוי מלא לאכיפת החוק ולהחזרת הביטחון והסדר ליהודה ושומרון.
אין חסינות לטרוריסטים יהודים. אין פשרות עם אלימות לאומנית. החוק הישראלי חייב לחול על כולם.

Brett McGurk confirms what many already knew: the @IntlCrimCourt Prosecutor’s sudden request for arrest warrants was never about justice . It was always about political and personal gain for a now-discredited prosecutor.
I knew former ICC prosecutor Karim Khan from his work investigating ISIS crimes against the Yazidis.
On May 19, 2024, I helped secure the access he sought in Israel. Israel agreed. The next day, he announced his application for warrants.
Here’s the story. From my conversation with @IgnatiusPost on BRINK at @AtlanticCouncil.

זה הולך לעצבן לא מעט אנשים,
אבל צה״ל צריך להגן על פלסטינים גם מפני יהודים.
אפשר להגיד שמדובר ב״קומץ״. אבל כשאותו קומץ מיידה אבנים, פוגע בפלסטינים או מפר את הסדר, צריך להקפיץ כוחות, להפריד בין הצדדים ולהפנות חיילים למשימה שלא הייתה אמורה להיות שם מלכתחילה.
והמחיר לא נגמר באותו אירוע.
אלימות של קיצונים יהודים מייצרת עוד חיכוך בשטח, מעסיקה את צה״ל וכוחות הביטחון ומקשה עליהם לבצע את המשימה המרכזית שלהם:
להגן על מדינת ישראל ולהילחם בטרור.
אנחנו, מפקדים למען ביטחון ישראל, אומרים את זה מתוך עשרות שנים של שירות ופיקוד: צה״ל לא אמור לבחור על מי להגן לפי הלאום שלו. כשאזרח נמצא תחת איום בשטח שבאחריותו- הוא צריך להגן עליו.
זה לא עניין של ימין או שמאל.
זו האחריות שלנו כמדינה.

Recibimos en nuestra sede de Pasteur 633 a la nueva embajadora de @IsraelArgentina, Ahuva Spieler (@AmbAhuvaSpieler). Durante su visita, rindió un homenaje a las 85 víctimas fatales del atentado del 18 de julio de 1994 y encendió una vela junto al memorial que recuerda sus nombres.

Israel needs a vision of peace grounded in the hardest lessons of October 7.
In our article in The @Jerusalem_Post, @yaakovkatz and I argue that military strength must serve a political destination. We need leaders who can explain what future we are fighting to secure.
I can already hear the response: “It takes two to tango.”
Of course it does. Any agreement requires a credible partner, enforceable security arrangements, and action against terrorism. Nobody should confuse an aspiration for peace with trust that has yet to be earned.
But that objection does nothing to answer the question facing us: What is Israel’s vision for its own future?
Our responsibility to define that vision cannot depend on whether a partner is ready today. We must decide where we want to go, what conditions would make progress possible, and how to create them.
That is a clearheaded approach. It takes threats seriously while recognizing that our children deserve a horizon beyond the next war.
We need realism with our heads held high enough to see what is possible and our feet planted firmly on the ground.

אחרי התקיפה הקשה של הצלמת היידי לוין במסיק הזיתים, אייל בן ראובן התראיין לחדשות 12 ודיבר על האלימות שאנחנו פוגשים שוב ושוב בשטח.
אלימות נגד פלסטינים, נגד מי שמגיעים לעמוד לצידם, ועכשיו גם נגד עיתונאית שהגיעה לעשות את העבודה שלה.
אחרי שנים של שירות למען ביטחון המדינה, אייל לא מסתיר את הכעס על מה שהוא רואה היום בשטח:
״אני כל כך כועס וכל כך רותח שאנשים שמזדהים בתור בני העם שלי פועלים בניגוד מוחלט לערכים שלי, של המפקדים שלנו אחרי שנלחמנו על המדינה במשך כל כך הרבה שנים.״

משטרת מחוז ש"י עצרה לפנות בוקר 10 חשודים, פורעים יהודים, שהיו מעורבים באירועי אלימות בסוף השבוע בשטחים- תקיפת צלמת ה"וושינגטון פוסט" היידי לוין בכפר אבו פלאח ודיפלומטים זרים שהגיעו לבקר בכפר א-טייבה.
השוטרים פעלו בכמה מאחזים בבנימין, בליווי כוחות צה"ל, מג"ב ושב"כ, ולפי הודעת המשטרה גם אכפו צו שטח צבאי סגור שהוציא מפקד פקמ"ז. שם המבצע: "עלה של זית" - בגלל ימי המסיק.
החשודים שנעצרו, הועברו לחקירה ביחידה המרכזית ש"י ובתחנות מרחב שומרון השונות, ובהמשך יובאו להארכת מעצר בבית משפט במידת הצורך. מפקד מחוז ש"י, ניצב פינצ'י, ציין הבוקר: "מאז האירועים החמורים אנו פועלים לאיסוף ראיות, ממצאים ועדויות ולגיבוש תשתית ראייתית שתאפשר את מיצוי הדין עם המעורבים".
מפכ"ל המשטרה, רנ"צ דני לוי: "החוק ביהודה ושומרון חל על כולם, ללא הבדל זהות או השתייכות. משטרת ישראל מחויבת לאכיפה מקצועית, שוויונית וללא משוא פנים, על בסיס ראיות ובהתאם לדין".

President Herzog is right to speak out against extremist violence in the West Bank. These attacks are reprehensible and indefensible, and they cause enormous damage to Israel. A full investigation, followed by prosecution, is essential. The perpetrators do not represent the hundreds of thousands of law-abiding Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria.

נפגשתי היום עם היידי לוין, הצלמת שהותקפה באכזריות בידי פורעים יהודים ביהודה ושומרון.
ישבתי מולה, יחד עם ח"כ גלעד קריב, ושמעתי על רגעי האימה. על הפחד הנורא שלא תצא משם בחיים. על המכות, על הדם, על איך שהם הפקירו אותה פצועה בשטח.
אישה בת 65. מול חבורה של פורעים יהודים אכולי שנאה.
הלב נשבר. והדם רותח.
בחסות נתניהו-סמוטריץ הפכנו ממדינה של חברת מופת, למדינה שבה יהודים מסוגלים לבצע מעשה אלימות אכזרי כזה.

Unfortunately, this is too little, too late. The Jewish terrorists in the area must be actively stopped and due process must be applied. This is what we expect from Government.

A police investigation has been opened, and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria District are already at the scene collecting evidence.
The Foreign Ministry is in contact with the ambassadors of the countries concerned in order to assist the law enforcement authorities, who are working to identify the attackers and bring them to justice.
Without detracting from the severity of the incident, it is unfortunate that the visit was not coordinated with the IDF in advance. Such coordination could have helped safeguard the visitors’ security.
