This is should be how the tourist board promotes the UK. Perfectly encapsulates the managed declines of our country under the Tories.
Penny held a sword aloft for a long time.
It follows therefore that she should be able to directly scrap the ULEZ because it's obviously worse for London and the UK than the calamitous 'government' we currently have (and have had for 13 years)
Oh no hang on....
The ULEZ scheme expansion doesn’t just affect Londoners. It is having a negative impact on business, traders, charities, armed forces personnel and services travelling to the capital for work. If you are based in Portsmouth and are affected please fill in this survey and help me raise you concerns. Thank you.

Yeah, so what? Nothing new here. Big capital is ramming this rubbish through so what shall we do? How about we move beyond calling people out and actually make an impact.

I suspect this will have an astronomically bigger impact on how people positively perceive cities and “density done well” than anything a city planner like me will ever say. Thanks @taylorswift13. #DensityDoneWell #TaylorSwift

It seems that you can create your own mini-LTN by dragging illegally-parked Lime Bikes off the pavement and into the road.
Had a few press calls about this yesterday, not exactly our line of business over at @periscope_uk
.@ThalesUK Glasgow awarded £169 Million contract to manufacture [optronic] periscopes for Dreadnought class submarines.

My thoughts are with the staff, students and relatives of the Kharkiv School of Architecture following last nights attack on housing in Lviv where they have relocated
We could give all the stolen stuff from the British Museum back and then turn it into a slavery, empire and colonialism education centre.

Enfield has a massive deficiency of live and other music venues compared to other London boroughs, the infrastructure just isn't there to help bring on new talent. Huge achievement from Femi and @EzraCollective .
This is the future. #Jazz @glastonbury
I thought this was a Bot but apparently it isn't.
While anyone who wants to impact the climate, social justice and biodiversity crises is focussed on practical, real world solutions of which architecture and buildings might be part. 1/4
Artificial Intelligence: how can architects incorporate Midjourney into their design process?
From producing incredible inspiration to ideating clients’ ideas in hyper-quick time, generative AI is very much here to stay: ow.ly/AMaS50OUR8R
When will the RIBA define its mission as helping its members and architecture impact the critical issues of our time and then actually do it? 3/4
All its energy should be focussed on helping prevent another Grenfell, enabling low/zero carbon buildings in construction and operation and diversifying/socialising architecture.
If AI is part of that fine but no more blobs please. 4/4

Mic Drop. Glad Grace is back.

Well I travelled almost exclusively by bus, lived out of a backpack, stayed in dorms, had cold showers and bought almost nothing new but none of that matters bc carbon footprint was invented by the fossil fuel co’s to foist responsibility for climate breakdown onto individuals x
I thought this was a Bladeunner still. Christ. We're F++ked.
Epic dysfunctionality.
Dorries REALLY wanted to be a peer. Boris promised her she would be a peer .... and then via @thetimes
Instead we have eyesores which will need to be demolished in 25 years and replaced. I'm happy for my taxes to pay for better. We need to do this. Armed forces estates need to play their part in a regenerative future. Wonder what @NeilMurphy1978 thinks.
