One of the most moving moments in cinema. The British, who know they are done for, sing โMen of Harlechโ as the Zulus attack in โZuluโ (1964), starring Stanley Baker, Jack Hawkins and Michael Caine, in his first major role.

Stanley Kubrick rarely allowed actors to improvise, but R. Lee Ermey was an exception in Full Metal Jacket. His real military experience gave Sergeant Hartman an authenticity no screenplay could fully capture. One of cinema's great supporting performances

Life is a storm, my young friend. You will bask in the sunlight one moment, be shattered on the rocks the next. What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shoutโฆ"Do your worst, for I will do mine!โ

This moment in the Dolomites lasted just ten seconds, but it gave me one of my favorite photographs of 2026. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the drama, and the light catching those golden slopes. Really proud of this one!

Jaws (1975)
'You're gonna need a bigger boat', is just the start of one of the greatest sequences ever assembled. Tension blends into a full-on shark chase with Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw throwing out line after line of incredible dialogue. Peak cinema time.
