In order to make sure we have direct access to the data for our content we bought hosting account with the major hosting providers a couple of years ago, we did this instead of asking them for account to make sure that the account they give is not ‘special’.
We have realised however that it doesn’t make sense to use this only for us, so here it is: hosting-status.themeisle.com

Years ago it was common place for #WordPress products to be full price the first year and renewals discounted.
Now more WordPress products are discounting the first year and renewals are full price. Usually a full 2x increase.
