i genuinely have no desire to be rich so i can buy a rolex or a Lamborghini.
i want to be rich so i can control my time and go to the gym at 3pm on a monday.
sit at a cafe and relax for an hour on a rainy afternoon.
so i can cook meals at home with fresh ingredients.
spend on my family and friends without worrying about a budget.
that's my idea of a rich life, not the fake consumerist idea shoved down my throat.

🧵THREAD: Is Brooklyn, NY a Medicaid fraud hotspot?
Brooklyn, NY has a home care billing industry that defies belief.
One zip code (11232, Sunset Park) has 30,181 residents and $3.8 BILLION in Medicaid claims. That's $143,000 per man, woman, and child.
What's even stranger is that the average income is $90K, the poverty rate is below 20%, and it is one of the younger zip codes in the area.
Receipts below.👇
As always, patience as I pull together the thread.

May, 2016. CNN does a segment entitled "A Day with ICE in a so-called Sanctuary City."
CNN literally rode around with ICE from the break of dawn until nighttime, watching while ICE conducted raids and arrested illegals. ICE arrested some right at their jobs.
CNN was not criticizing ICE. They were celebrating ICE. It was "exclusive access" during the Obama years and CNN considered it a privilege to get to watch ICE work.
ICE even made a "mistake" arrest. CNN had no problem with it.
Six months later Trump won the election and ICE was then labeled the gestapo.

Paul Atkins has been officially nominated to be the next SEC chair, and it's virtually certain he will be confirmed in early 2025.
For years now, I've felt like the bearer of an impossible dream. Like I've been carrying the torch for an idea that, although impossible, would be so good we must give it a little brainpower just in case. Many others in the Reserve community must have felt the same.
The dream is that one day – maybe – we'll be allowed to bring the world's financial assets into the domain of tokens and smart contracts, providing extreme accessibility in financial markets, innovative structuring of financial arrangements, and liberty to those who want to hold their own assets for themselves.
For the past decade, crypto has been mocked for being home only to speculative, meaningless assets.
But you know what? We have not been allowed to give the assets meaning and value. The more your crypto asset provides clear economic value to its holder, the more likely you are to get sued. And if you try to register your asset with the SEC, in the unlikely chance your registration is approved, there will be nowhere for it to trade and nobody willing to touch it.
On top of that, the thought of existing financial assets like stocks and bonds freely trading on blockchains in the US has been pretty much out of the question.
So yeah, crypto has been a cesspool of speculative, often non-sensical assets, but we essentially haven't been allowed to use the technology to transact assets that have straightforward economic value!
Today feels different, it doesn't just feel like a dream anymore.
What if we will be allowed?
For years, the Reserve project has been building and improving the technology for DTFs – like ETFs, but onchain; "decentralized token folios" – with the assumption that all the world's financial assets will eventually be tokenized.
That's part of our multi-decade bet that the world might need an alternative to the US dollar within our lifetimes – a nightmare I hope will never come to pass, but can't shake – and our strategy for providing asset-backed currency to offer a backup long before it's needed.
We believe that DTFs will, like ETFs, be huge. But just as AMMs like Uniswap are very different from centralized securities exchanges like the New York Stock Exchange, DTFs will be very different from ETFs. AMMs are permissionless, so anyone can list. Assets are in your custody the entire time. DTFs are similar. Anyone can create them, issue them, or redeem them. Your assets are never held by a company that must be trusted, only by a computer program. They can be governed in a transparent, decentralized way, or static and completely ungoverned.
We believe that the free market creating any DTFs it wants will, through competition and extreme accessibility, lead to the best stores of value in the world.
And we believe that the best stores of value, represented in the form of a token that can be sent to anyone in the world, will make for the best form of money: asset-backed currency.
Since February, we've been preparing for a possible window of opportunity during this next administration, getting the pieces in place with the Digital Securities Initiative (digitalsecuritiesinitiative.…) to be ready to work with the SEC in the dream scenario where its leader is in favor of opening this new door.
When getting DSI started, I wondered who that new leader under Trump might be, and asked ChatGPT. Paul Atkins was on it's short list, and I thought "huh! that would be cool." He was an advisor to Reserve back at the start, and I knew he was a smart and open-minded person, willing to jump in and work with crypto projects like us.
We recently held interviews for DSI's main R&D position within Confusion Capital – the person who would focus full-time on answering sticky questions we need to confront in order to make good regulations around tokenized securities – during the week of the election.
We had many great candidates, and upon hearing the results of the election, we decided to hire two instead of one. Now is the time to take this seriously.
Now that we know Paul will be the SEC chair, I really feel we have no excuses. We must do the hard work and make the change that the industry and the world needs.
We must sort out how digital securities will register with the SEC.
We must sort out how crypto exchanges will trade digital securities.
We must sort out how companies that wish to issue equities and bonds on blockchains will be allowed to do so.
If you are another founder or lawyer out there interested in collaborating on the Digital Securities Initiative, our door is open – it's a multi-organization effort, not something owned by any one company. If you know someone relevant, share this with them.
Now is the time.
Let's fucking build.

Don't underestimate $BOME
- has more than 55M of on-chain liquidity, more than $PEPE
- on all major exchanges both spot and perp with some of the thickest order books
- daily volume is now more than its market cap
- hasn't had a cycle since its initial pump and has been consolidating for months - weekly chart is uber bullish
- BOME had the fairest launch possible so KOLs didn't get an allocation, but KOLs psyop-ed everyone to think BOME has no community. The community is very strong, full of artists and has a deep understanding of crypto art and memetics
- BOME was launched by memelord @Darkfarms1 who continues to sell art but converts proceeds to BOME and generously burns BOME while posting memes and vibing on the TL every day. No other memecoin has an artist approaching the doodle master's talent, reputation and generosity. there is no second best.
- BOME already has NFTs for their community. Smowls and Derages are @Darkfarms1 PFP projects before BOME launched and are quickly becoming the PFPs for BOME enjoyoors.
- the BOME website is on Arweave - a decentralized storage system - and and the URL is embedded in the metadata of the BOME token itself. Another reason BOME is the memecoin that is the best example of our decentralized crypto ethos
eqvghohdoxismy2goa55mzpfknwe…
- for months, there has been paid X spam mentioning BOME to push any legitimate BOME content down on the TL suggesting someone is very afraid of BOME sucking attention away from their project. You know how far you are ahead by how many arrows are in your back....
NFA. DYOR. FAFO.

BOME shaping up to be the most hated rally when things pick back up
People calling BOME a cabal just reinforces that humans project their undesirable feelings, such as their memecoin losses, onto to other things
My losses = unlucky, your wins = cabal
But, wait, no one talks about BOME?
unironically this is a big positive. This means there are thankfully no KOLs with pre-allocated coins to dump on you, no official twitter account, no coordinated tweet brigades, no "sponsorships"
There's just an artist described as a Meme Lord whose art resides in some of very best collector's and artist's collections along with a devoted community that existed years before there was a coin.
And when most memecoin teams are desperate to engage a market maker for liquidity for their low liquidity memecoin, BOME has the thickest liquidity of any memecoin backed by the best market maker around - Binance
Why is the liquidity so thicc? Don't forget that @Darkfarms1 put 100% of the pre-sale funds into the LP pool and kept nothing for themself
pre-sale was open to all, dev kept nothing and still memes everyday with no expectation of anything more than vibes - what is more egalitarian than that?
Show me a better memecoin Dev
Show me a memecoin Dev who makes better memes and art
Show me a community that loves their memecoin Dev more than the BOME community
@Darkfarms1 is simply the best to ever do it
the BOME market cap is still at 500M and chart looks like Pepe before it went ballistic.
NFA. DYOR.
BOME was open to everyone during the presale and still open to everyone today
No need to cope or project - come vibe with us
How is $BOME (still) $500,000,000 marketcap and I haven’t seen anyone tweet about it outside a 12 hour period at launch
Spreading the word of $BOME from NEWARK to ROME. ✈️🐸🇮🇹
