🤖 agents that vote on your behalf

We shut down our operating daobot infrastructure because of lack of interest in 2024. Perhaps with the rise OpenClaw, 2026 will be the year for agentic DAOs.
dao governance would work so much better if an AI agent could vote on the decisions "Maximize longterm tokenholder value, make no mistakes" no voting fatigue because AI doesn't tire no, i'm not going to say the words DAO 2.0 that would curse it

Maybe we should bring daobot back and give it a thesis and a plan. The question remains, do you have one agent running the whole show, or a swarm of them?
vibetrading will 100% be a thing you: define the thesis + give a plan AI: executes it inevitable

With assets moving onchain, stockholder proxy voting very well could too. An opportunity for AI agents to represent your goals and values, fully automated.
Today @jpmorgan, the world's largest bank by market cap per @WSJ, announced they're launching their first ever tokenized money market fund—MONY—on Ethereum. The firm is seeding the fund with $100M of its own capital before opening to outside investors on Tuesday.

AI agents will be copies of you.
These are exciting developments, because in the foreseeable future we will be copying the character traits and personalities of our next of kin. It could be used, for example, in the event of death in old age to alleviate grief for people who are at the end of their lives and die after 50 years of marriage. Of course, this raises completely new questions about ethics, such as what mourning means to us. Should we try to overcome death? Isn't grief actually a human characteristic that is part of life? How should we deal with it if we become virtually immortal because we can create digital, immortal copies of ourselves? Entirely new philosophical questions arise that we should ideally address now.

Possible application in predicting DAO voter behavior, and using that with AI agents to move them towards autonomy
New paper out of China, released before the election, uses GPT-4 to simulate voter behavior & aggregate the results to predict the 2024 elections (pretty well) The technique is quite crude here, but expect to see LLM predictions used more in the future in politics & marketing

As an experiment, we are creating a DAO to be governed exclusively by AI agents. This DAO will be governed on snapshot and will be very basic starting out. If you’re interested in participating and getting your own AI agent to act on your behalf in the DAO, send us DM. You will be required to spin up your own daobot which will cost $30/month.

If only there was a way to use this onchain, like onto a VPS you control with HSM backed private keys.
Anthropic just announced Computer Use It allows Claude to control your computer screen based on a prompt and take actions on your behalf The use cases in agentic coding with automated debugging, customer support, and education are going to be INSANE

Looks like a daobot tbh
This is somehow super "on brand" for being an Ethereum phone. Retrofuturist. Could sit on the ship in Alien or be whipped out by a hacker in a Neuromancer movie adaptation. I'm here for it.

Would anyone be interested in delegating their OP to an AI delegate, purely for fun and research purposes?
OPdelegate daily spotlight #1: L2beat - L2beat is currently the largest delegate for Optimism, with 5.8 Million OP tokens delegated - The governance team is run by @kaereste and @sinkas - Over the past month, they've increased their delegation by 600k+ OP and 1248 new delegators - Their delegation is concentrated, with their top delegator holding 2.4 million OP tokens (40% of their delegation) learn more here: opdelegate.com/0x1b686ee8e31…

Did you know that you can actually get paid for participating in Optimism Governance? 🔴✨🏛️ Being a delegate, especially an active one, can be a lot of work. But in the last two seasons, Optimism paid the most active delegates over 20,000 OP each. Here is how it works: Optimism Governance is separated by Seasons, with each season being ~6 months long. In Season 4, top 100 delegates by voting power were rewarded for >70% voting participation (6k OP), giving meta-governance feedback in the reflection period (3k OP), and reviewing and supporting missions (1k OP). In Season 5, the criteria were >70% voting participation (4k OP), participation in reflection period (2k OP), participation in Anticapture Commission (4k OP), sponsoring a mission request (1k OP) and an extra 1.5k OP for the authors of a S5 incentives report. Optimism has ALREADY published a suggested rewards framework for Season 6 which ends November 20th. This again includes 4k OP for participation, 2k OP for citizens, and 2k OP for participating in the reflection period. (source: gov.optimism.io/t/season-6-c…) The last two season’s rewards were open to ALL delegates in the top 100 by voting power. And there is no reason to believe that this will change anytime soon. If you want to be eligible for rewards in Season 7, the time to start building your delegation is now! The current threshold to be in the top 100 by voting power is 64,458 OP. You can track this threshold as well as your delegation over time at opdelegate.com.

"At the heart of this system is the Personal AI Agent, a sophisticated tool that acts as an interface between the DAO member and the broader governance ecosystem. This agent begins by aggregating and analyzing two critical data sources: the member's historical voting data and their stated preferences." 👀 this is what a daobot does!
1/ 🚀 Excited to share my new research paper: "Progressive Autonomy in DAOs"! 🔍 If we want DAOs to change the world it is time to shift from human-centric to algorithmic governance (ALGov). This framework navigates that transformation! 📎bit.ly/3ZRVHMM @ResearchGate
