"Academics launch rival inquiry
Committee for Academic Freedom will examine [whether Jason Arday’s] employment at Cambridge met expected standards" (Times)
I’ll submit my own assessment of Arday's illiterate thesis. It failed to meet expected standards for PhD, let alone a Cambridge professorship.

Whatever the real reason professional tennis pays women the same as men but requires ~63% of the effort in the grand slams (2/3 vs. 3/5 sets) it is absurd to claim women can't last as long. They absolutely can. Equal work for equal pay—as in other sports

Just for a moment, imagine a counterfactual in which, after October 7, the entire world demanded the immediate release of the hostages and Hamas’s unconditional surrender. I mean the Pope, the UN, the heads of every government, artists, musicians, poets, actors. Rallies in the streets of every capital. Students, professors, university presidents unequivocally, fervently insisting on the release of the hostages. Militaries prepared to intervene to secure their freedom and bring about the end of Hamas. Why didn’t this happen?
In the name of peace, in the name love, in the name of common decency —why didn’t this happen?

Oeps.
With only 15 million Jews worldwide, the Jews have won over 221 Nobel prizes, constituting over 22% of all prizes.
56 in physics, 37 in chemistry, 61 in medicine, 40 in economics, 17 in literature, and 9 Nobel peace prizes.
Out of two billion Muslims, 16 Muslims have won Nobel Prizes, constituting 1.5% of all prizes.
Seven Nobel Peace prizes, three in literature, two in physics, two in chemistry, and two in medicine.
You reach your own conclusion.
