When the convicted terrorist Nnamdi Kanu, Simon Ekpa, and their IPOB terrorist group were running mad between 2018-2023, there was a man who stood up to them while others cowered, some defended, and others openly supported them. I mean, several intellectuals, politicians, architects, academics, senior government officials and business leaders were excusing terrorism in our very eyes 👀!
The name of this gentleman is Nyesom Wike. He was at the time, the Governor of Rivers State.
Listen to him here where he threatened that anyone who brings terrorism to Rivers will die like a goat after their head has been blown off. He also said their bodies will be eaten by vultures.
Nigerians should compare this firm stance with that of folks with no balls who were saying “……they are our bothers and neighbours…..”
God forbid that anyone who cannot openly condemn terrorism be given an opportunity to lead as Governor or President. God forbid!
