An important ruling, this women looked after her mother 24/7 and agreed with her siblings that she would be rewarded for this, and when it came to taking the money she was reported to the police, rather than be grateful that she was looked after in her final days! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr93…

Sorting a block on my @LloydsBank credit card. On the app chat for 5 hours (says 24/7). Each reply takes 45 minutes to an hour and asks another question. Even if I reply within a minute, the next response takes over an hour. So frustrating. Going to bed now—hopefully won’t have to start over.

trying to book a flight on @VirginAtlantic website, using points (paying for taxes etc) was slightly short of points so paid £60 to get enough for the flight, but cant book since payment wont go through for the booking due to the @googlecloud outage. Just hope when its fixed that i can still get the flights are the same points value and i havent wasted the £60 on buying points i wont use (since they are arent refundable). Whats frustrating was buying the extra points was possible via ApplePay, which you cant pay for the actual flight with! @BBCNews

Loving the new #mobland Dame Helen classic here #oldtrampscock

quoted in this article "How many people said West Ham would walk the league?", a week is a VERY long time in football, maybe after last night we will @fan_banter

The latest edition of #startrek where all the crew except Spock are puppets is terrible, in fact the whole series has been really bad

Another day and another day without water, was a little optimistic first thing when a splatter of water started to come through, then as people started to get up all stopped again. @thameswater this isn’t good enough, days without water for many in East London/essex

Why do so many @UKLabour MPs refuse to speak on @GBNEWS? We are potentially a couple of years from a general election with plenty of time to get your policies across. Are we viewers irrelevant to your electoral success next time?

It's a shame @YvetteCooperMP doesn’t feel it’s right to speak on Britain’s best news channel about a matter really important to the nation – mental health – but is speaking on every other channel this morning. Guess the new leader isn’t leading to new openness for @UKLabour and is still shunning @GBNEWS viewers. Why so afraid to be interviewed by @DrStephenDixon and @elliecostelloTV?

Maybe low turnout in Manchester election due to student population having gone home for summer(approx 100k uni students) and many families on holiday due to schools breaking up @GBNEWS

The economic assumptions behind replacing Council Tax with a property value tax fall apart when applied to "asset-rich, cash-poor" pensioners. To supplement fixed incomes, many retirees take out Lifetime Mortgages. At typical rates of around 7% APR, compounding interest doubles this debt roughly every decade. If the state allows property tax to be deferred as a second legal charge behind the commercial lender, a pensioner’s home equity can be rapidly wiped out. Should that individual later require residential care, their net capital would fall below the statutory threshold (currently £23,250) —shifting the full cost of their care onto the taxpayer. Ultimately, the state risks losing more in social care liabilities than it gains in property tax revenue.

Just seen this article regarding buzzbalz @Tesco @Morrisons @sainsburys @asda if you sell them is it ok to place empties in the soft plastics for recycling in store for you to manage the recycling bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cr49… or will you try and force the manufacturers had and delist until they make their packaging recyclable? Also were you hoodwinked into the greenwashing that the packaging could be recycled?

well done Spain, well deserved even though some weird extra injury time for both halves of the extra time, how can you get 5 minutes extra from a 15 minute half with no subs and no hydration break, yet second half had 4 minutes injury with a 3 minute break and subs etc

Sorry this is way too lenient, she intentionally tried to cover up for her sons heinous actions, she will likely be put in a year or sooner. bbc.co.uk/news/live/c62x8lk5…

The roof of Roding Valley station on the central line looks like a blank canvas to do something “green” either solar panels or a living roof @TfL @MayorofLondon

Apparently @lisanandy is suggesting that people could have a fee added to their streaming services to pay for the BBC. What happens when people like me, subscribe to multiple services (e.g. Nowtv, Disney, Amazon, Netflix, Appletv, Appletv) would we end up pay mutiple times? @SkyNews

How long before this is 6 streamers and 1 subscription?
