All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

This week, I’m still shocked by how people foolishly misinterpret a Converse ad featuring K-Pop star Karina. Some believed it promoted the KKK, claiming a hood and black shoes symbolized lynching. But the ad shows her holding shoes under spotlight; it’s not racist. People overreact and accuse it of racism without understanding the context.
Converse and Karina apologized, but I think they did nothing wrong. It’s about misreading a simple ad as quote “ literacy crisis,”, and some boycott it without proper perspective.
Meanwhile, truly racist companies are supported, revealing selective outrage.

Lindsay Clancy juror Paula Devlin tells @gayleking that the holdout juror was a Black man, whom she estimates is in his 30s. Devlin says after watching a video of an interview with Clancy, the holdout juror “realized that it wasn’t murder in the first degree,” adding the jury “saw his doubt.”
The judge declared a mistrial after the jury was deadlocked 11-1.

PHYSINT is an important project both to me personally and to KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS. Determined to keep the project alive, we have spent the last three months searching tirelessly for a new partner. In the course of seeking advice and pursuing negotiations with people across many fields, we found in XBOX a partner with whom we share a common vision for the future, and we have decided to team up with them once again. Please rest assured that development of PHYSINT, our genre-defining action-espionage title, is ongoing and will continue moving forward.
