Conformity means saying something you already know is wrong just because everyone else is saying it.
Solomon Asch showed this in the 1950s with a simple line-matching test.
Alone, people almost never got it wrong. When a group all gave the wrong answer on purpose, people went along about a third of the time.
They could still see the right line. They just didn’t want to say it out loud. People do this for two reasons:
they don’t want to stand out or get rejected, so they agree publicly even when they know it’s wrong, and they assume the group must know something they don’t, so they start doubting their own eyes. Unanimity matters more than how many people are in the group. If even one other person gives the correct answer, most of the effect disappears.
That’s why a manufactured consensus works: a small coordinated group speaks first, repeats the same wrong answer confidently, and makes it look like the question is already settled.
Every new person who joins makes the “majority” look even bigger to the next person. Doubt turns into silence, and silence gets treated as agreement.
Once this happens, the idea can keep spreading even after the original people who started it are gone. An old experiment showed that a completely made-up rule, planted by a few people, kept getting passed on to new people who never met the originals.
Over time, public agreement can turn into private belief and become part of people’s identity. Then the group itself starts policing anyone who disagrees, so outside pressure is no longer needed. Later corrections barely work. Once people have accepted something, they tend to stick with the original conclusion even after the evidence is removed, and the original claim keeps influencing people more than the later correction.
Changing your mind in public feels like defecting from the group, so most people stay quiet. This pattern shows up wherever copying the public answer is easier than actually checking:
political messaging, fake grassroots campaigns, meetings staged to look unanimous, or pile-ons that punish the first person who objects. The private, correct answer was available the whole time. What actually spread was the social cost of saying it.

The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that they did not carry out any operation towards the Saudi interior, and that what the criminal Saudi enemy claims about shooting down a drone in the airspace of Medina is a continuation of its great and huge slander against the Yemen of faith and wisdom, and that these fabrications against our dear people and its mujahid armed forces are no longer believed by anyone in this world, as this is a moral and ethical bankruptcy, and a depravity and degradation of this criminal and treacherous Saudi regime.

You’re a genocide promoting blood sucking demon, not a doctor.
You should be in jail not in office

My second visit to Minab was not as traumatic as the first.
I made the point of going to visit the Bazaar as well as a theatre all of it is going to be posted to a new set of works under the name of
Uncle Hoz on the Ground
I will be visiting various places in Iran and bringing you firsthand reporting from what I see. Iran is the country that has been most lied about. in the mainstream media.
They have demonised us, they have turned us into monsters. We are supposedly the greatest state sponsor of terrorism in the world, when the reality of the matter is we are the biggest terrorists of the state of Israel.
We’re trying to stop them terrorising everyone else on planet Earth. That’s why we’re called terrorists.
That’s a huge difference.
It means we are the point of the spear of the resistance against the dark forces of the Epstein class, against the dark forces of the coalition of genocide that has taken place in Gaza and is now spreading to the West Bank where they are ethnically cleansing the people from there.
Southern Lebanon is being left in absolute ruins because of the Epstein coalition.
This is the coalition that has allowed to Israel any kind of guilt over things that they’ve done, they’ve been given political cover by the United States of America, Germany, France, and Britain, the main four culprits. They have allowed its prime minister a war criminal wanted by the Hague to continue in this same fashion, all in the name of Israel having the right to defend itself.
No country has the right to commit genocide, and that is exactly what the Western civilised world has signed up for.
Minab is a scar that won’t heal without blood recompense. I look forward to that.

Apart from being Pakistani because you do not represent our Muslim brothers:
