Animated previews of SH2's CGI models; Maria, James, sick Mary's unused CGI model, Laura, Maria's facial morphs, and a closeup animation of Maria's slight belly flab, which Takayoshi Sato added to make her look more realistic. I created these animations by stitching together scans of CGI renders from an old magazine (except for Laura). Scans by @badhumans ! #silenthill #silenthill2

New changes are being made to Silent Hill 2 remake's Steam build. Whether this is part of a bigger update or not remains to be seen... #silenthill #silenthill2

In the prison, there are some parallelisms between Mary and Virgin Mary, reflecting James' guilt and his desperation to be forgiven for his crime. She's depicted in a picture as Virgin Mary with the same scars caused by her disease. A painting shows Virgin Mary watching men in pointy hats self-flagellating, a reference to the two Pyramid Heads killing themselves while Maria is hanging above them, when James finally accepts the truth. There's also a rosary inscribed with "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" next to the priest's diary (with a note that is also related to James's crime). #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake
