so here's my top 3 advice for you newly appointed marketing managers to maximise stakeholder value or be a GREAT marketing MANAGER:
1. be great at marketing (isn't that obvious?): your efforts in writing a copy, market research, ideation or execution must be top tier
2. keep everyone accountable (no excuses,okay?): your manager skills are directly proportional to keeping people accountable & speaking straightforward - and ALWAYS KEEP YOUR WORD
3. being empathetic (love your minions): spend quality time with team, trust is a form of appreciation built over time - GRAB a pint in your nearest pub everyone once/twice a month (benders are ++)
