We had paying customers well before our Product Hunt launch, and we still set a date.
With AI it's so easy to always add one more little thing... the date is what made the whole team push like crazy and ship.
IMVHO that's what launching is now.

Claude artifacts are 3 small features away from obliterating @NotionHQ:
- Fully public pages that need no login
- Access that expires on a date you set
- Seeing who viewed a page
CC'ing you @AnthropicAI to let some agent pick this up and channel it into your feature request tracking
We finished 5th on Product Hunt, in a market where everyone is building an AI assistant...
What I took from it: go super ultra sharp. One niche, optimize only for those people, everyone else can wait.

1/ Introducing Kai, the AI assistant that doesn't do it all.
Every assistant launched this year can book your hotels, plan your wedding, and walk your dog.
Kai handles the boring stuff that eats up your day: email, calendar, tasks and meetings.
It connects the dots, anticipates what matters and has your back 24/7. Silently working in the background and ready to call you on urgent matters.
We built a UI too, because sometimes chatting is slower than clicking a button.

Every founder and team lead has two jobs: the one they were hired for, and the one that eats it. We built Kai, an AI executive assistant for the second job. We’re live on Product Hunt today. Come show us some love ❤️

Here's the pro-ble-mo I have with these pure message-centric agents... "Can you show me screenshots of the hotels, and screenshots of google maps to see where the hotels are"... like... what the heck? How's this a superior experience 😅
Gives me vibes of the @rabbit_hmi 's R1... and we all know how that went down after @MKBHD tried to review that.
Don't get me wrong, there's more, and it is quite impressive already for many other things, but the screenshots... meh, can't think of a worse UX to check where an hotel is...
Say you have a meeting with an important customer in an hour, but they send you an email asking to bump it by 30 minutes... I'd miss it, like 100%... or maybe not, with an agent that has some common sense ;)
@hirekai_ai reads my emails the moment they come in.
It understands the context and the urgency.
It checks my calendar and comes to me with an action plan.
With a single confirmation, Kai sends out an email written in my voice telling the customer it's all good and updates the meeting.
Every AI notetaker is dumb: transcribe, summarize, done. But the useful stuff happens during the call. So here's a little prototype I cooked
→ Finds a time for the follow-up and puts it on your calendar
→ Captures tasks as they're said
→ Can even draft a prompt and hand it to Claude so the work starts right away
What do you think?
The day TypeSafe AI's Jev came out, I just heard of it but didn't look into it... Then standup kicked in, and asked the team about it, and my CTO, @marco_ancona, explained it exactly like this... tho I have to say Rick's making it a tad more entertaining 🤣
Hey @linkinpark , here's a crazy story of my friend @DannyHatcher going from customer support to breaking the world with AI, it'd be sick if you guys made a cover :D -> open.spotify.com/track/7fZPH…
Here we go again, this time with something you already use, but 10x better. FULLY LOCAL AI notetaker: audio files stay local, speech-to-text and the AI summary run locally. No account. No third-party app, just a Chrome extension.
Sure, you could just go and install it, but if you'd spare 1 minute to go give Lambert and Jim some love on ProductHunt, that'd be really awesome ;)
