“AND YOU STILL DARE TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH…” Sasha Legerman: This is too accurate not to share. This Australian’s response to Trump’s rant that “NATO does nothing for America” is absolutely devastating: “Mate. You run a country where 600,000 homeless people will sleep on the streets tonight. A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment, and people ration it just to stay alive. A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy. A country where women die in hospital parking lots because doctors are too afraid of abortion laws to treat miscarriages. You imprison more of your own citizens than any country on Earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. In the land of the free, 2 million people sit in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything. They’re simply too poor to afford bail. Your life expectancy is declining. You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s. Your children practice active shooter drills between math and English classes while you sell defense stocks to your friends. Your minimum wage hasn’t changed in 15 years. Your teachers work two jobs, your veterans sleep under bridges, and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that never attacked you. And now a convicted criminal — found liable for sexual abuse, defending a pedophile, sleeping with a porn star, and running the biggest dumpster-fire campaign since the Taliban — is thanking you for yet another disaster. And you call Greenland badly governed? Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment. ‘NATO wasn’t there when we needed them.’ When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn’t even in NATO, and we still showed up. For twenty years. And then you left at 2 a.m. without telling anyone and left everybody else to clean up the mess. You don’t care that a great nation is being terrorized by your friend, and you haven’t shown it a single ounce of sympathy. So maybe before calling other countries badly governed, take a look at your own backyard, you aluminum siding salesman with a spray tan. The only thing badly managed in this picture is your damn mouth. And you still dare to lecture the rest of the world?”

Russia is doing everything in its power to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine. Last night in Kyiv the Russians destroyed the warehouse and office of Ukraine's second-largest pharmaceutical distributor, Optima Pharm. The losses are estimated at over $100 million.

Russian "Z-bloggers" report the most massive drone attack on Russia last night. According to one of them, 447 long-range drones and missiles were deployed on Russia last evening and last night. He believes this will continue. From "Kyiv in three days" to "447 drones and missiles on Russia in one night." Translation of the post on the screenshot: "I report. Over the past evening and night, the enemy deployed 447 long-range UAVs and missiles The most massive attack. The existing production capacity does not allow for such a quantity to be produced overnight. The enemy was preparing, accumulating strength. Most likely, the massive attacks will continue all weekend."
Meanwhile, several military objects were attacked by drones in Russia: ◾️There is a fire at the optical fiber plant in Russian Saransk. ◾️In Tula region, Splav plant was attacked - it produces Grad, Uragan, Smerch, Tornado MLRS, as well as ammunition for TOS-1A Solntsepek. ◾️In Moscow region, Kubinka military airfield was attacked, where Mig-29 ans Su-29 aircraft are based. ◾️There is also a fire at Shaykovka military airfield in Kaluga region of Russia (where Tu-22 aircraft are based).

Nothing more important that rescuing victims of Russian fascism.
Today is another day when Ukraine brings its people back. 175 of our defenders have been released from Russian captivity. Another 22 defenders are returning home through measures beyond exchanges. Among them are severely wounded warriors and those whom Russia persecuted for fabricated crimes. All of them will immediately receive the necessary medical and psychological assistance. This is one of the largest POW exchanges. Returning home are our soldiers, sergeants, and officers – warriors who fought for our freedom in the ranks of the Armed Forces, Navy, National Guard, Territorial Defense Forces, and Border Guard Service. They defended Ukraine across various fronts – in Mariupol, at Azovstal, in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, as well as Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kursk regions. I thank our team for their important work in finding Ukrainian prisoners of war and facilitating exchanges, as well as for the results that bring hope. We are also grateful to all our partners, especially the United Arab Emirates, for making today’s exchange possible. Ukraine remembers every one of our heroes, and we will bring all our people home. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

What has happened to Barron's online? The fonts are so tiny they are unreadable, and cannot be expanded -- they are like 4 points, while the ads are oversized. Can someone help? @barronsonline

Interesting battle between beach-hoarding Vinod and #Elonthefelon over the nonsensical stories about Springfield OH. When billionaires argue with each other, who benefits?
What % of the population has had this happen vs. % dealing with hate, bomb threats and bullying by the fictitious Haitian stories and other hate fiction @realDonaldTrump is knowingly lying about and spreading to divide the nation?

We need more press on how Russia supports Hamas
Israelis promised vengeance against Russia in the aftermath of Hamas atrocities. Now we know Russia funded, armed, and trained Hamas alongside Iran. Clear parallels between Russia's operation against Israel via Hamas and Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2014 via "separatists."

OMG we still have leadership.
We’re the most powerful nation in the history of the world. We can take care of Israel and Ukraine and still maintain our overall international defense.

Surovikin is not some mid-level colonel. He is/was second in command in Ukraine and was first in command before Putin removed him. Having him out of the fight would be good for Ukraine. Having Russian soldiers pissed off about him being out of the fight would be even better.

Anything from Putin is a fraud, from start to finish. Don’t trust anything he says or does — it will always be something else.
This is an absurd and stupid take. Prigozhin's military operation was meticulously planned for months and executed flawlessly. If Prigozhin cares about his family, he would have ensured their safety. And if he doesn't care, then this is moot. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…
