Amazing, the @github contribution graph that @davidpick and @jersearls 3D printed for me for Christmas 2018 is now a thing GitHub will do skyline.github.com
Wow, @jersearls used (with, I'm told, a lot of help from @davidpick! 💚) @fastradius to 3D print me a custom model of my 2018 @github activity graph. What an awesome souvenir!

Anyone else think the IRS could have picked a different day of the year - literally any other day of the year, really - for a planned site outage? 🤔

pretty tired of the “i’m sitting this one out” takes from my friends sitting in solidly blue states. like it or not, the democratic nominee will need EVERY possible vote in purple states, like ohio, michigan, wisconsin, etc. i’ll hold my fucking nose before i cede the courts

"You are not working from home; you are at your home during a crisis trying to work." I've heard this twice today. I think it's an important distinction worth emphasising.

Work From Home is crucial step to take for all companies that are able. But let's not pretend that anyone can put in 100% during these times. If you expect everyone to still hit every deadline, nail every commitment, you're delusional, and you need to stop.

We just announced that all Basecamp employees get this Friday + Monday off to create a 4-day “get prepared” weekend. Time to think about childcare, elderly care, extra time to go to the store, etc. If you’re an employer who can afford to do this, I hope you’ll follow suit.
