How do I know the climate “crisis” is a scam?
Here are five reasons:
1️⃣ None of the politicians, celebrities, or “scientists” talking about it have changed their own lifestyles in any way. If they actually stopped using oil and gas products, I’d take them seriously. Actions speak louder than words.
2️⃣ Climate conferences still aren’t held on Zoom using their large meeting extensions. Instead these gremlins keep flying around the world lecturing us about shrinking our carbon footprints while doing nothing to shrink their own.
3️⃣ Wealthy alarmists are still living on or buying oceanfront property. If sea levels were rising at anything close to a catastrophic rate (instead of the gradual increase we actually see), they would be moving inland and banks would stop writing loans for those properties.
4️⃣ The same people never criticize China or India. They always have a ready list of excuses for why the world’s biggest and fastest-growing CO₂ emitters get a free pass to keep burning fossil fuels.
5️⃣ The only “solutions” they ever offer involve more government power. Higher taxes. EV mandates. Restrictions or bans on the energy sources they don’t like.

Dear @andyburnham
I do not need an apology for slavery or reparations. Nobody should apologise for the sins of their ancestors.
I would like an apology for the present list of lies, broken promises, immigration betrayals and why I'm paying more in tax without any improvements.

The chief benefit from rising atmospheric CO₂ levels is an undeniable increase in planetary green leaf cover, now clearly visible from space.
This fresh greening covers an area twice the size of the continental United States - yet it remains ignored by the institutional forces driving a narrative of climate emergency, and largely overlooked in the mainstream media.
Data from NASA’s MODIS satellite instruments tells the real story. Rather than triggering global collapse, the rise in CO₂ sparked a massive expansion in the green canopy, stimulating agricultural yields (some cereal crops up by 280%) and natural ecosystems alike. This 'CO₂ fertilisation effect' occurs as plants perform photosynthesis more efficiently while losing less water through their stomata.
Meanwhile, the global economy has been severely disrupted by a 40-year campaign built on forecasts of environmental doom from anthropogenic CO₂. This trace gas is not a climate control knob. It is the fundamental driver of biological photosynthesis and oxygen production.
These campaigns, led by UN activism, demand a rapid, forced transition away from hydrocarbon energy. Yet wind and solar cannot supply the dense baseload power required for steel production and heavy industry. Hydrocarbon fuels still provide 82% of global primary power.
This entire transition is justified under the warning that CO₂ emissions are leading the planet to the brink of catastrophe - with the total cost of this pointless pivot estimated at a staggering $275 trillion.
Earth's geological history, paired with empirical satellite data, reveal a completely different reality: CO₂ is a powerful agent of biological enrichment. Its capacity to drive runaway global warming faces steep, immovable physical limitations.
A critical pillar of atmospheric physics is how the warming effect of CO₂ continually reduces along a sliding logarithmic curve. The first 100 ppm of CO₂ exert the greatest impact on capturing outgoing infrared radiation. But as concentrations rise, absorption bands rapidly saturate. Each subsequent doubling of CO₂ yields an ever-smaller increment of radiative warmth.
The concept of a runaway warming feedback loop loses its theoretical foundation under actual atmospheric conditions, where the 'rate of warming' diminishes progressively. Yet this debunked narrative is routinely recycled to fuel panic.
Annual COP climate summits over the past thirty years also endlessly amplify this agenda of fear, functioning largely as high-end junkets for global elites.
In geological terms, atmospheric CO₂ is in long-term decline - a fact carefully airbrushed from IPCC worst-case scenarios. During the Cambrian period, atmospheric CO₂ peaked as high as 7,000 ppm. Even with those immense concentrations, there was no global boiling; instead, it marked the greatest explosion of biological diversity in Earth's history.
During the Last Glacial Maximum (26,000 to 19,000 years ago), CO₂ levels plummeted to roughly 180 ppm - dangerously close to the 150 ppm threshold below which most C3 plant life starves and dies. From a long-term evolutionary perspective, modern levels hovering above 420 ppm represent a vital, partial recovery from a geologically recent carbon drought, rather than a precursor to apocalypse.
Today’s global average temperature sits at approximately 15°C. In the context of the history of complex life on land, this is remarkably cold. Earth’s baseline historical temperature average was closer to 24°C, characterised by ice-free poles and expansive, highly productive ecosystems. Our current global average actually reflects a colder-than-average ice age regime.
Global climates are not controlled by trace gases. They are driven by massive, slow-moving astronomical, oceanic, and tectonic forces - such as Milankovitch orbital cycles or the shifting configuration of continents blocking equatorial ocean currents.

🇬🇧 BREXIT WAS SUPPOSED TO DESTROY BRITAIN. EVEN THE FRENCH DATA TELLS A DIFFERENT STORY.
For years, we were told leaving the EU would be an economic catastrophe.
Now, research from France’s respected OFCE economic institute has delivered an uncomfortable finding for the doom-mongers.
🇬🇧 Britain’s economic growth between 2015 and 2025 broadly matched the Eurozone.
🇬🇧 Britain outperformed both France and Germany.
🇬🇧 British productivity showed no clear post-Brexit collapse.
🇬🇧 The predicted 15% decline in trade intensity has not materialised.
The researchers acknowledge economic costs and challenges. But the apocalyptic predictions? They simply haven’t come to pass.
And this assessment comes from France, not a British pro-Brexit campaign.
Perhaps it’s time Westminster stopped treating Brexit as the problem and started making the most of the independence the British people voted for.
The British people made their choice. Now deliver on it. 🇬🇧

I'm proud of Britain's impact on the world and the continuing role of ideas that emerged on these islands - from free speech to Parliamentary democracy. [Even if some in our country have abandoned them.]
I'm fed up of the talk of apologies and reparations coming from leftist destructionists who hate our country and grifters who seek to fleece us.
If Burnham wants to apologise for something - how about the toxic legacy of Blair and Brown?

Educate yourself Kay.
Your lefty virtue-signalling about how bad our country’s history was may have been welcome on Sky News and at your Covid parties.
But the truth is that slavery- indefensible as it was- was the norm many centuries ago. The Romans, the Egyptians, the Dutch and even the Africans themselves all took part in the brutal trade.
And you should know that Brits were enslaved too. By the Romans, Irish, Anglo-Saxons, Vikings and the Barbary cosairs.
Your ignorance wouldn’t be much comfort for the women imprisoned for months in freezing, brutal conditions, taken from their families by raiders on the British Isles in the 11th century.
If you need some help learning more, read my book, ‘Patriot: Empire, betrayal and hope’.
I’m sure your words would have been of great comfort to the women imprisoned for months in those stinking, cramped dungeons, taken out at the governor’s pleasure or left in the blistering sun without food or water if they resisted his advances, before being marched through the Door of No Return.

Maybe he can't read...

In 2014, 888,246 ceramic poppies were arranged around the Tower of London to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
Each one represented a British or Commonwealth service person who lost their life in the conflict, a profoundly moving and beautiful tribute.
We will remember them.

The reality is UK total (goods & services) exports to EU in 2025 were:
· ⬆️ 18.9% on 2015 (pre-referendum)
· ⬆️ 3.8% on 2019 (before leaving EU)
· ⬆️3.2% on last year.

It is hardly surprising that someone open to rejoining the EU would be open to free movement.
Burnham's romanticised picture of EU membership ignores the fact that we literally had no idea who was coming into the country before 2016. We were always told there were 3 million EU citizens in Britain. When we counted them we discovered there were 6 million.
Any attempt to return to free movement has to reckon with the fact that a country like Spain has legalised the status of a million plus illegal migrants since then, and with the very visible tensions and anxieties amongst EU member states on the subject.
There can be no viable policy which doesn't involve HMG having full control over who comes into this country. We aren't there at the moment, but we will need to get there in the end. Andy Burnham may not understand this now, but he will have to do so eventually.
❗️EXCLUSIVE❗️
Andy Burnham has opened the door to Britain rejoining the EU’s free movement rules, arguing an “honest discussion” about the idea is needed
The PM said the nature of immigration has been “different” since Brexit, with more foreigners moving permanently to the UK rather than returning home
Burnham noted how his father, Roy, an engineer, took advantage of the EU rules in the 1990s to work in Germany
He also said since leaving the bloc Britain has lost access to ‘Eurodac’, an EU database on border crossings
“I think you have to have a very factual, quite evidence-based debate about this,” he said
Burnham made clear staying out of free movement would **not** be a red line for talks (unlike adopting the Euro or rejoining the Schengen Area)
Burnham made the comments to me in one of four interviews conducted during his first 100 days in office. All unpacked in tomorrow’s Sunday Times.
It’s big news. Free movement seen as a key reason why the country voted Brexit in 2016. No PM has made the argument for potentially rejoining since… until now.
(Important to note: Burnham accepts there were ‘very significant challenges’ too with free movement. Hasn’t reached a firm decision yes or no. He continues to mull over ‘options’ for closer EU ties)
KEY BURNHAM QUOTE
“Freedom of movement had very significant challenges associated with it and I spoke about them in my previous time in Parliament. But, at the same time, it was a type of immigration that perhaps wasn’t as difficult (as now).
“Revolving door migration where people would come and then go back is different. The balance of migration has changed, hasn’t it, since then? I think we’ve just got to have an honest discussion about those things.”

The UK government has, since April, spent no less than £61 billion - that’s £61,000,000,000 - on debt interest payments.
That’s equivalent to our entire annual defence budget - on just half a year’s worth of debt service costs, not paying back a penny of our national debt.
For £61bn you could build 40 state-of-the-art hospitals.
Or employ 100,000 nurses for a decade
Or fund free-at-the-point-of-use social care, across the entire UK, for three years.
