The 5 levels of a personal brand:
1. Dreamer: consuming only
2. Tinkerer: posting, nothing lands
3. Operator: works only if you do
4. Media Company CEO: the machine runs
5. Iconic Brand: people repeat your words in rooms you're not in
Find your level. Make one move.

Founder communities worth joining if you're shipping B2B SaaS right now (bookmark this):
1. SaaStr - still the best free resource for founders at $1M-$30M ARR. the pattern-matching from peers alone is worth it. saastr(dot)com
2. Pavilion - operators and revenue leaders. if you're scaling a team, this is where the right conversations happen. joinpavilion(dot)com
3. Hampton - vetted founder community. smaller, higher signal, no noise. joinhampton(dot)com
4. Indie Hackers - if you're bootstrapped or seedstrapping, this is your people. indiehackers(dot)com
5. On Deck - fellowships and community for founders at different stages. oncedeck(dot)com
You can spend six months learning something the hard way or have one conversation with someone who's already been through it and solve it in an evening.
