Yesterday @NorterraCanyon honored veterans with a breakfast & assembly. ❤️ when @DVUSD staff & students bring their own veterans to school, as I hold dear the time my dad came & my son presented him. To all who served to protect the freedoms we hold dear, thank you! 🇺🇸

Great fun @NorterraCanyon 5th & 6th SPARK w/ @CodeJoyEdu live interactive Robotic Haunted House event. Ss saw how robotics from @birdbraintech work & their code ran the robots! Good preview of what’s next-servos & sensors here we come! Thx @InfyFoundation for the opportunity.

My @NorterraCanyon 1st & 2nd SPARK Ss said “Eureka! Let’s make science labs.” So we did & learned basics of electricity & fluorescence to light them so Esther 🧚‍♂️ can do nighttime experiments! Thanks again @ashleyspires for your #FairyScience books. They magically inspired us! 🪄

Oct. is National Principals Month, so 5th SPARK completed a top secret project:Mission Milks! They ❤️ our @NorterraCanyon principal & used microbits to relay that message. One S even coded the tune of A Pirates Life for Me!🏴‍☠️#extraordinary @DVUSD @microbit_edu @CodeJoyEdu
