This thread states well many of my own thoughts and concerns. I am incredibly worried that there are almost no guardrails, and also worried that the collateral damage in the cost of human lives to poorly conceived policy choices will be horrific.

If you think Hogan will stand up to Trump now, I've got a gold watch to sell you.
However much I like and respect @GovLarryHogan, this argument doesn’t fly. If voters are concerned that a GOP majority would be inclined to do “crazy things,” why should they vote for anyone whose election could help create such a majority?
