Today, we came together to celebrate the life and legacy of Detective Harry Wright with a street-naming ceremony held in his honor.
Alongside law enforcement officials, family members, community leaders, and distinguished guests, the event was spent recognizing Detective Wright's lasting impact on our community. Detective Wright dedicated his life to serving others and left a lasting mark on South Florida through his commitment to public safety, integrity, and compassion. Through this street designation, his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the @DCFCU Dade County Federal Credit Union President and CEO George Joseph, DCFCU Board members, and dedicated team; @SouthFloridaPBA; Miami-Dade County Commissioner @commishbermudez; and Sweetwater Commissioner Saul Diaz for their partnership and support in ensuring that Detective Wright's legacy will be remembered for many generations to come.
