Last night my parents' Uber eats driver complained his girlfriend had been waiting in the car for so long for me to answer the door. When I said I'm so sorry, were you knocking a long time he said "You expect me to knock on your door?"
He was serious and I responded "Yes, I expect you to knock on the door when delivering food."
Just documenting this as it seems telling of tech/generational/dystopian divisions being sowed amongst humans
