The Highlands Ranch High School Cyberpatriots are headed to the Cyberpatriots National Competition in Washington DC next week! Only the top 12 teams out of more than 5000 were selected for this all-expense paid trip to compete – way to go Highlands Ranch High School!

If @DCSDK12 were to pass a $60M MLO & a $450M Bond, it would cost taxpayers $1 per week per $100K of assessed home value. For example, a Douglas County resident with a home valued at $500K would pay approx. an additional $250 per year if both measures are approved. #myDCSD

@DCSDK12 avg. teacher salary is over $18K less than Cherry Creek & nearly $11K less than Littleton Public Schools, making it difficult for us to compete for high quality teachers & staff. If passed, MLO funds would be used to provide pay that is more competitive. #myDCSD

Additional bond funding, if passed by voters, would enable @dcsdk12 to build new neighborhood schools in Crystal Valley, The Canyons, & Sterling Ranch, & to construct expansions to Mesa & Sierra MS. Funds would also be used to repair, maintain & update existing schools. #myDCSD
