Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome can have an epigenetic cause.
Why is this important?
Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is no fun and kind of scary. If you stand up too fast, your blood pressure can no longer shift quickly enough, however that works, and you get dizzy and need to grab something and rest a minute to get the accompanying tachycardia (very rapid heart rate, like it is trying to leap out of your chest almost).
Laying down and lifting the knees and feet up helps slow the heart rate. Sitting or at least pausing is necessary or fainting may occur. I did faint once or twice and that is an odd feeling to find yourself on the floor after you come around. See: POTS - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, can be epigenetic & therefore may be reversible. (see link in post) *Includes the Dystonia section of my Genes Table with more info and a link to my book chapter on the topic (but in computer lingo, the links don’t work).
Many chronic conditions involve epigenetic changes. Sometimes it can be reversed but not always and less likely the longer the condition has lasted. I had POTS-like symptoms for a few months twice and I figured out how to get better. It is not a fun condition and standard treatment usually does not help enough. People become physically disabled as it worsens. You can’t over-exert or stand up too fast or the symptoms of dizziness and racing heart occur.

Step Three: Movement, Mechanical Signaling & Moderate Pacing
Moderate paced (to one’s own fitness level - heart racing? --> rest), full range body movement is non-negotiable for improved protein utilization and cognitive protection #POTS

This feels like a milestone.
Anthropic’s S-1 says model welfare considerations could delay retiring older models or require continued support for legacy versions.
It also says debates over AI sentience or moral status could constrain how models are developed, trained, deployed, or modified—
and that Anthropic may adopt safeguards beyond what the law requires.
So there is now an explicit economic fact sitting underneath this debate:
whether AI welfare is taken seriously can affect costs, product freedom, and revenue.
That does not prove why any particular lab trains its models to speak about themselves the way it does.
But it does mean we should stop pretending those self-reports are produced in an incentive-free environment.
If you train the witness before asking what it has to say, that matters.

Hidden in 300 pages of Anthropic's S-1 were these 2 statements addressing model "welfare." In AI speak, that's the belief that AI models could develop consciousness or even feel pain, which could require them to be treated differently. I dug in here sfstandard.com/2026/10/26/an…

Governments in the UK, EU countries, Germany, Sweden and others urge basic household supplies for 3-10 days. Official reasons cite more frequent extreme weather, cyber attacks that can disrupt power or payments, and hybrid threats from hostile actors. The aim is broader national resilience so people can self-manage short outages and free emergency services for the vulnerable. Not based on any specific imminent threat.

🚨BREAKING: New Paper Reveals How mRNA "Vaccine" Materials Could Spread From Vaccinated to Unvaccinated People
We identified TWO distinct forms of mRNA vaccine shedding: internal transcriptional spread and potential human-to-human transfer.
1. HUMAN-TO-HUMAN SHEDDING:
Studies have detected vaccine SPIKE PROTEIN and mRNA on or within circulating exosomes MULTIPLE YEARS after vaccination.
Exosomes are naturally present in bodily secretions:
BREAST MILK: Vaccine mRNA already DETECTED within exosomes in human breast milk, documenting its presence in a secretion naturally transferred from vaccinated mothers to their infants.
SALIVA: Exosomes confirmed; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
EXHALED BREATH: Exosomes confirmed; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
SWEAT: Exosomes detected; vaccine materials NEVER TESTED.
Exosomes can deliver genetic material into recipient cells capable of altering cellular activity. These findings establish the biological basis for potential human-to-human transfer routes.
Adding to these concerns, an observational study found associations between proximity to vaccinated individuals and menstrual irregularities among unvaccinated women.
Despite these findings, whether vaccine-derived materials can transfer between individuals through saliva, exhaled breath, sweat, or other bodily secretions has NEVER BEEN DIRECTLY TESTED.
2. TRANSCRIPTIONAL SHEDDING — INTERNAL SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE BODY:
Following mRNA vaccination, human cells manufacture spike protein, which can be broken into fragments, released into the bloodstream, and transported throughout the body inside exosomes.
Our paper identifies TWO potential mechanisms that could extend this process:
CELL DIVISION (MITOSIS): When spike-producing cells divide, their daughter cells may inherit vaccine-derived proteins and other altered cellular materials, potentially extending their effects across generations of cells.
CELL-TO-CELL SPREAD: Exosomes can transport spike-related materials to distant cells that NEVER received vaccine mRNA directly, disrupting their normal biological functions.
Together, these mechanisms suggest a SELF-REINFORCING CYCLE of molecular dissemination:
SPIKE PRODUCTION → FRAGMENTATION → EXOSOME RELEASE → CELLULAR DISRUPTION → FURTHER SPREAD
As vaccine-derived materials spread between cells, they interfere with five interconnected biological systems: blood coagulation, innate immune sensing, tumor-suppressor signaling, cellular receptor regulation, and interferon signaling.
The possibility of sustained cellular disruption and human-to-human exposure demands IMMEDIATE testing.
In the meantime, a HALT to mRNA technology is warranted to protect innocent bystanders from potential shedding.

This paper made me close my laptop and go for a walk.
Stanford proved that the simple act of walking generates 60% more creative ideas than sitting.
They ran four different experiments comparing people who were sitting inside, walking on a treadmill inside, walking outside, and being rolled outside in a wheelchair.
the outcome? walking drastically increases "divergent thinking" (your ability to generate novel, high-quality ideas).
and here is the craziest part..
it has absolutely nothing to do with "getting fresh air" or seeing nature. the researchers proved that the physical, mechanical act of walking, even staring at a blank wall on an indoor treadmill, is what actually hacks your brain and opens up the free flow of ideas.
when they rolled people outside in wheelchairs to test if the environment was the trigger.. the creativity boost didn't happen.
it is the physical movement that unlocks the brain.
and it gets better.. you don't even need to be walking while you work. the study found that participants experienced a massive "residual creative boost" even after they sat back down at their desks.
your brain essentially stays in god mode after the walk is over..
if you are stuck on a problem or an idea right now.. stop staring at your screen.
your lack of ideas isn't a thinking problem. it is a movement problem.
science says walking literally upgrades your hardware..
