We warned that Gaza’s makeshift shelters wouldn’t survive the first heavy rain. We never imagined that one night could destroy tens of thousands of tents and wash away entire displacement camps. Help please: chuffed.org/project/113222-t… Roads are under water. In some areas, the flooding is so deep that families can barely get out and our teams can barely get in. People who have already been displaced over and over are soaked, cold, and trying to figure out where their children can sleep tonight. And it’s still raining. We need to act now. Families need replacement tents, dry bedding, and solid ground to pitch those tents on before the next downpour.
