The devs did something. Many things, as it turns out. Not one, but THREE firsts for synchronous composability between a rollup and Ethereum mainnet. @tw_tter and @eduadiez will demo them live on Lotus Stage 1 at Devcon, 13:00 IST. We even had the devs make their own launch video. Cast, in order of appearance: @SCBuergel , @antonimarber, @chetnamiittal, @debjitbw, @JesusLigero3, @jbaylina , @turingtestrun, @eduadiez, @filoozom, @epochzer0, @tw_tter , and @0xKenk . One @ethereum . Details of the news and the demos in thread. 🧵

Closing the bathroom door: not suspicious. Sealing an envelope: not suspicious. Wanting your phone unscanned: not suspicious. Privacy is the default setting of a free society.
Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all. signal.org/blog/pdfs/2026-06…

My first ever @ProductHunt launch 😁🎉 I've been building Pagecorder for a while, and it's wild to finally put it out there. If you've ever wanted to turn a web page into a proper video, this is for you. It's quite a niche product, but would mean a lot if you checked it out 🙏
Introducing… Pagecorder! 🎬 An API that turns any web page into an MP4 video. 60 FPS, audio, up to 4K, including 1080x1920 for YouTube Shorts. Initially built it to automate YouTube content. Now shipping it so you can too. Live on @ProductHunt today 👇

🚨 Google Wallet recently integrated ZKPs for private age verification. Many of the use-cases that have been written about for years (self-sovereign identity, private digital credentials) are finally being deployed to consumers. 2025 is the year ZK goes mainstream.

💪🏻 and my infinite thanks to @gakonst and @paradigm, some good stuff you've cooked
reth has started proposing blocks on gnosis chain! Amazing contribution by @SerenitaIO, leading Gnosis core dev @debjitbw! gnosischa.in/slot/21423737

We made it! @gnosischain is now the first mainnet on Pectra 🥳 Participation dropped a bit (to ~88%), but all client pairs, including our new releases of @paradigm's Reth and @ethereum's Geth made it through unharmed! Now to run a full test suite for the new features.

hello pectra
The Pectra upgrade has been activated on the Gnosis Chain mainnet! 🦒 🦉 🦒 Thank you to all validators and node operators for contributing to the network's security by updating their nodes.

so how many nodes went down with the EU power outage?

the revenue comes from VCs
real question: why aren’t more teams prioritizing revenue generation?

something im wondering: how will the gas limit increase affect block propagation across the network (possibly delaying), since recently i also saw a push for faster block times.
Ethereum's execution layer scaling roadmap is on track: - Continuous Gas Limit Increases (EIP-7935) - History Expiry (EIP-4444) - Delayed Execution (EIP-7886) - Block Access Lists (EIP-7928) - Block-Level Warming (EIP-7863) Here's a short thread with additional context👇

Replying to @0xNairolf
You mean... losing faith that crypto is gonna make them rich? Because hardly anyone is in it for the cypherpunk reasons. Cypherpunks have to do it right and with a superior ux. Not easy.

Don't understand this take. L2's aren't just their own chains, they depend on L1. They are just scaling layers because the EVM is a nice thing to have with L1's safety. Ofc ethereum isn't the only solution today, but ethereum is FINE the main issue here is liquidity fragmentation, and protocols like @circle and @1inch are actively working to make the gap feel as small as possible, and eth's scaling roadmap has this in mind no one will win in a fight between good ecosystems, it's what the deployed app/protocol needs. the good ones will be inherently cross-chain or cross-ecosystem
Ethereum wins if it stops debating L1<>L2 and how "Ethereum" they are. They're all literally their own chains and Ethereum just has a privileged position in their eco. I may stop using L1/L2 entirely. Consensus chain. Execution chain. Data availability chain.

TIL some companies ask you to make a separate github id for them. it seems the mystic concept of adding an ID to a github org hasn't reached the wider audience
