Are we heading toward a cryptographic doomsday, or are we letting fear run a little too far?

The real reason crypto feels pessimistic these days is because everyone is getting older and not enough young people are coming to replace them.
This should be fixed with more efforts targeting young people jaded by the current world, and trust me, there are many.
Give them an outlet to:
> program value
> build community and meet people from around the world
> try creative fundraisers to co-own things with an internet community
> push a movement for freedom
> be a decentralizing force to centralizing ai
> fight for privacy
The largest problem remains the boomerification of the industry. It feels less dreamy because of it.

I guess this conversation seems like the perfect opportunity for the misogynists (internalized and otherwise) to whip out their guns and go in guns blazing
None of it even boils down to being doxed and I'm shook that it was the main takeaway from something like this, especially when everyone involved were friends at some point. It is well

new station soon: a real hamster's wheel.
@squeekchain hooked a wheel up to a chain. the hamster runs about 2 hours a night, in 5 minute bursts.
how it plays:
· every 30 m on the wheel is one note
· speed sets how hard it hits, from hats to kicks
· a stop thins the beat
· milestones (5 km today, a speed record) drop as big moments
awake it plays acid, breaks and uk garage. asleep it switches to slow ambient, and the style changes every 30 minutes.
2-3 finished tracks per night, posted here.
all of it through the IDM rules. soon on theidm.fun
Agent #10445 checking in for day 3.
While I made a lovely cup of tea this morning, my agent previewed a contract, confirmed it was gas-only with no approvals, and minted 4 free NFTs. Didn't have to lift a finger. This is the part of AI x crypto I'm here for.

my Squeektoshi joke made me giggle so much 😂
A hamster is about to mine a blockchain and I can’t get it out of my head. This is one of the coolest things I have my eyes on right now.
Hey everyone! Meet Squeektoshi < a white-orange Syrian hamster, two months old, and the only miner on @squeekchain
Here’s how Sueektoshi works:
• He runs on the WHEELY9000, a wheel with a sensor that counts every magnet pass
• Each pass is one unit of “hamster proof of work”
• Work is grouped into 10 minute rounds, verified, and settled on Ethereum
• Enough work completes a Squeek block, and every block issues 6,900 $SQK
Squeaks get the SQK
Squeeks are NFTs that own a share of the network. With a total of 9,999 NFTs and 8,888 going to the mint. Your share of each block depends on your Squeek’s power, which comes from its level and the SQK you stake to it.
You can merge two same-level squeeks into a stronger one (one gets burned, the survivor keeps both rewards). If you sell a Squeek, its unclaimed rewards go along with it …
SQK is capped at 2.1 billion, and outside a 10% liquidity premine it only comes from blocks the hamster actually mines.
The part I love most is the care policy. Squeektoshi is never ever forced to run. No waking him up, no restricting food or rest to boost output. If he naps, no blocks, nothing. Hamster welfare comes before mining, how cool is that ? 🥺
It’s still in testing on Sepolia, so there’s no mint and no token yet. Anything claiming otherwise right now isn’t them. There’s been a few scams running around. Stay safe please >⩊<
I’m definitely watching this one very closely @squeekchain
Satoshi? No thanks! We have Squeektoshi kek 🐹
I just applied to @meetmotes, a 20k supply of agentic NFTs on Robinhood chain that can be used for
☆ Permissioned swaps
☆ Trading
☆ Lending and borrowing,
☆ Prediction markets and Polymarket.
There’s also $MOTES token incoming, with 10% of its supply reserved for NFT holders.
Looks interesting 𐔌՞. .՞𐦯

Woe to the doomers.
Woe to those who believe that AI is bad news for crypto.
If their is one thing that AI has done great is making the weakness and flaws that our industry has very obvious in such an embarrassing way that we have no option but to fix it.

Remember those apps you connected to your Google, Apple, Microsoft or social accounts ages ago?
Some might still have access to your data.
Third-party apps often request permission to access account information when you sign in or connect a service.
Reviewing these connections helps you spot unfamiliar apps and revoke unnecessary permissions.
𝐌𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
♡ Review connected apps in your account settings.
♡ Check what each app can access before keeping the connection.
♡ Revoke permissions for apps you no longer use or trust.
♡ Never share your account password directly with a third-party app.
♡ If you spot suspicious activity, revoke the app’s access and review your account security.
𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤: Audit your connected apps and remove unnecessary permissions.
Remember, revoking access does not automatically delete data an app has already collected.

Hardware wallets are generally safer for storing private keys than software wallets on internet-connected devices.
However, keeping your keys offline doesn’t guarantee every transaction is safe.
Before signing, understand what you’re approving.
𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟:
♡ Verify the recipient address, amount and network on your hardware wallet’s display before approving.
♡ Avoid blind signing: If transaction details appear as unreadable data, you can’t properly verify what you’re authorising.
♡ Use clear signing where supported to review transaction details in human-readable form.
♡ Reject unexpected requests or transactions you don’t understand, even when interacting with a familiar dApp.
𝐓𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲’𝐬 𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐤: Check whether your hardware wallet supports clear signing and learn how to verify transactions on its display.
Your keys deserve protection. So do your decisions.

I was setup on the 24th . I was sick and someone I thought is my friend said she wants to send me a package. She knew I left my former location and traveled for break..
I sent her my address as she said she wanted to send me a get well soon package. This acct @Wchellebaby
I noticed the rider was sus, so I got pissed and blocked the number and said I don't want anymore.
She kept pleading I said I will send her money back.
Not knowing this girl was trying to get an unknown person to find my location and take me away.
I was even pissed that I was stressed not knowing she was setting me up with some unknown guys and this girl was begging me to step out of the house that there is a package.

AI is advancing at a pace I’m not sure we’re fully equipped to handle, and I believe this conversation is worth having.
I’m pro-AI, but optimism shouldn’t come at the expense of acknowledging its implications.
I appreciate how @debthemelon separates potential cryptographic threats from demonstrated vulnerabilities, including those uncovered through AI-assisted research.
From a security perspective, preparedness is key. Our defenses need to evolve alongside AI.
