✊️🇵🇸 Leila Khaled is a prominent Palestinian activist and member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). Born in Haifa in 1944, she became widely known after participating in two airplane hijackings in 1969 and 1970 to bring international attention to the Palestinian cause. Her image became iconic, especially the photo of her wearing a keffiyeh and holding a rifle. Today, she is a symbol of resistance and continues to be active in political and social movements.
