Japan is genuinely one of the best potential NFL markets. Football is reasonably popular in Japan and has been played for nearly 100 years. There are at least 400 teams between high-school, college, and professional levels. And American culture is broadly seen as cool.

The NFL has been chasing “sexy” markets like the UK or Mexico but realistically Germany and Japan have the best-developed local environments and the broadest interest from the public for the sport.

Three guesses as to a big reason why American football is most popular in Germany and Japan compared to other markets. If you guessed "post-WWII occupations and American military presence to this day" - you're a winner!

I don’t think this loophole is real ngl. If it was there’d be consensus on what it is.
When will someone use an agent swarm to discover this

…so what exactly is the appeal of the next gen supposed to be when: 1) The current gen barely has any games 2) You won’t own anything you buy 3) It costs a mortgage payment
Xbox is reportedly planning for their next console to release in late 2028. Microsoft is internally projecting that the console could cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800, unless they decide to subsidize the cost. (Source: fortune.com/2026/10/20/the-n…)

This could have substantial ramifications. Based off primary votes, Scott Brown in 2010 would not have made the top four. Republicans could essentially be locked out of many Massachusetts elections.

Big deal for this and future admins. Voters demonstrably appear to hate inflation more than basically anything.

Only one stop-motion film in history - Chicken Run - has grossed even $200 million worldwide. Unfortunately it’s just very hard to get people to go watch stop-motion films.

Really grim stuff here. Thankfully Laika is owned by the Knight family, who have an unlimited amount of money and seems to be more or less okay with keeping a studio like Laika alive

Fans also incorrectly attributed Kylo Ren’s “last the past die” line to Rian Johnson. Ren is the villain of the movie! He’s also wrong and is depicted as having crossed a moral event horizon by the end.
The big lie about The Last Jedi, from fans and haters alike, is that Rian Johnson wanted to subvert expectations. Every decision he made was a natural continuation of each character's arc, based on their flaws. It is just that fans created baseless theories after it was written.

Delmarva would lowkey be a fairly competitive swing state. Recent presidential results: 2024: Harris+3.5 2020: Biden+7.7 2016: Clinton+0.4 Dems win it by about 5 points on average most cycles.
the asteroid that formed the Chesapeake Bay gave us the most obvious natural borders for a US State in history, and colonists still cut this into three states Unify Delmarva!

South Carolina has one of the starker divides of any state out there. Western/Upstate SC has around ~2 million people and voted for Trump by 34 points. The rest has ~3 million people and voted for him by 7.4% and - 0.5% in 2020.

Disney had a Star Wars movie with a 91% critic and “A” CinemaScore that was the highest-grossing film of the year and had a lower 1st to 2nd entry drop than ESB or AoTC. They got so freaked out by online comments that they pivoted the next entry to be safer and respond/retcon most major complaints.
One of the reasons why Disney has pivoted to playing it safe is because damn near every single risky idea they've put out in the last 25 years has bombed out right or underperformed. If Hexed goes down, they'll play it even more safe.

After Endgame they seemingly pivoted to force as many Marvel films as to be ~2 hours in length, in response to… as far as I can tell, basically nothing except vague complaints about film length? Basically, Disney’s instinct is always to go safer with their major properties.

Maine's Senate race is a pure Toss Up. In the DDHQ Forecast, Republican Susan Collins and Democrat Troy Jackson both have a 50% win probability. This must-win seat for both parties is the closest Senate race in our forecast.

Pretty much all of the things people dislike about TRoS are direct responses to online fan criticism about TLJ. And a lot of the sequel stuff people complain about broadly (like the lack of politics) are direct responses to the most pervasive pre-2015 Star Wars fandom complaints about the prequels.
Congratulations to everyone who threw a fit over Rian Johnson’s Star Wars. Enjoy Jon Watts and Shawn Levy’s Star Wars!

George Lucas infamously did not care about any fan criticisms and generally did whatever he wanted, also to broadly mixed results in his later years managing the franchise. People who ended up liking the prequels eventually won out. So maybe it ultimately doesn't matter.

There will no doubt be people who say "but Andor could be the future of the series", but it was the least-watched of any Disney Star Wars show except Skeleton Crew - yes, even lower than The Acolyte. The demo was like 70% male and overwhelmingly over 30. Not happening.
