🔰Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has formally launched the ambitious ₹1,725 crore "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Skill Training and Employment Zone (SVPSTPZ) Development Scheme" today.
In the first phase, the foundation stone of the "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Skill Training and Employment Sector Development Center" will be laid in five major districts of the state: Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Kanpur, Jhansi, and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Gormint is considering easing paperwork requirements for investment funds with less than 10% ownership by investors from countries sharing a land border with India (LBCs), a senior official said on Tuesday.
The proposed changes would involve modifying forms to remove disclosure requirements for information that is not necessary, the official said.
In March, the government amended Press Note 3 of 2020 through Press Note 2 of 2026, allowing investments from entities and funds with beneficial ownership of 10% or less by investors from LBCs to come through the automatic route, provided there is no management control or ultimate effective control by such investors.
