literally NOBODY is "forcing children to be lgbtq+", also there's plenty of cases of maga fucks forcing THEIR kids to agree with their political and religious values
Dear Gay people, MAGA doesn’t hate you. We don’t care “who you love.” ❤️ Your love is valid. We just don’t want you pushing your values on OUR kids. Give OUR kids autonomy. Parents deserve a seat at the table & we don’t want you hijacking OUR responsibilities. They’re OUR kids!

Eric Bauza was a unique voice talent who brought joy and laughter to millions around the world. During his 15 years at Warner Bros. Animation, he was the voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck among countless other characters. He followed in the footsteps of giants like Mel Blanc. Eric said that carrying on the legendary legacy of the Looney Tunes was among the greatest honors of his life. In addition to his incredible talent, Eric was a treasured part of our animation family. Our hearts go out to his loved ones. -Channing Dungey (Chairman, Warner Bros. Television Group and US Networks) and Bill Damaschke (President & Chief Creative Officer, Warner Bros. Pictures Animation)

unfortunately fair rides, while still mostly safe are alot more dangerous than a ride at a major park, which leads to tragedies like this happening

as a fellow bob fan and coaster enthusiast, i agree
I cannot believe how people are sharing the final moments of the poor man who died on the Six Flags ride like it's a joke. He was a beloved teacher and a roller coaster enthusiast, my heart goes out to his family. The Internet is so fucked up, makes me sick

dear god the restraints are already locked they're just messing with them why is everyone so dumb
Check out this video from a while back showing riders on the same Goliath roller coaster where a man was ejected this week, trying to lock in their safety mechanisms while rising to the top of the first drop; this ride was a disaster waiting to happen.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Riders in the video are tightening already-locked ratchet lap bars while ascending the lift hill (normal on B&M clamshells like Goliath); bars lock pre-dispatch & only tighten further. themeparkdispatch.com/articles/rolle… nbcchicago.com/news/local/how…

these mfs would die if they saw phoenix or any other coaster with crazy airtime
I went on this ride one time. The lap bar wouldn’t go down all the way because my thigh size was in between clicks so there was a small gap between my thighs and the bar. Thought I was going to die
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Mako uses standard B&M clamshell lap bar restraints; small gaps or play between ratchet clicks is normal and expected while the bar remains securely locked with redundant mechanisms. coasterpedia.net/wiki/Mako youtube.com/watch?v=Fux1Eo… coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Topic/b… attractionsmagazine.com/six-flags-trag…

i don't think any of the goliaths have seatbelts or did have them, and even so the seatbelt unbuckling wouldn't do anything
I almost died on Goliath at Six Flags 15yrs ago. My seatbelt malfunctioned at the beginning of the ride but luckily I was able to fix it before the 1st big drop. Never been so scared in my life…
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia was only 5 years old at the claimed time and has never had seatbelts as described. rcdb.com/3290.htm en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_(…

all of the coasters that were/are named ride of steel were/are intamin hypercoasters with no inversions, so how did you go up-side down on a coaster named ride of steel, there's also no coaster named "man of steel" 🤨
I got on the Man of Steel at Six Flags as a teenager and my safety harness was not properly fastened either. I clutched the bottom of the seat with my legs and bear hugged the harness the whole ride. Upside down and everything. I was not about to die like that you gmfu.

I would just like to say, roller coasters are consistently one of the safest activities you can possibly do for fun out there in the world. What happened yesterday should NOT have been possible, and it represents an extreme outlier case. Don’t let fear mongering get to you.

I’ve always thought roller coaster accidents should be treated like plane crashes—something extremely rare that still should be investigated thoroughly with the goal that it should never happen (even if that’s impossible to achieve). I also wish there was the transparency we see with FAA reports.
