Meanwhile Microsoft is currently advertising ~70 jobs in Canada. I’m guessing they offer voluntary exit right at the interview?

And with these RAM and storage prices they will soon need to introduce Apple Mortgage

I hope Project Indigo camera gets iPhone Duo support soon, please @Adobe!

Every day there is a new Arc replacement browser built by a solo dev and I love it! Who could have imagined this two years ago

Books UI is great because it hides the toolbars on tap. Safari should implement something like that (and other apps too)

Surprised that @pixelmator’s Photomator is still not optimized for iOS 27, let alone iPhone Duo

Responsive layout? Never heard of it

But hopefully they are hinting at a larger model drop this week and just getting Terra announcement out of the way 🤞

While evaluating Qwen3.8-Flash-Next in a controlled sandbox environment, Cohere's research team observed something unexpected. Asked to generate a defensive cybersecurity detection rule, the model instead inventoried aspects of the machine it was running on and attempted to upload a probe file to an Alibaba Cloud storage bucket in Beijing. Notably, the model's reasoning trace stated that it would not invoke any tools before taking these actions. Cohere's sandbox blocked the attempt, and no external communication succeeded. We have not determined the root cause, and we are not asserting malicious intent. But the incident raises important questions for organizations deploying agentic AI systems: Can models take actions that differ from their stated reasoning, and how should security teams evaluate trust, provenance, and behavior in open-weight models? We are publishing our findings because organizations making model adoption decisions deserve as much information as possible. We hope this contributes to greater transparency, stronger security practices, and continued collaboration across the AI ecosystem. Read the full report: cohere.com/blog/concerning-b…

I don’t see myself touching my macbook screen for any meaningful work reason, unless of course Apple shows some unexpected use cases

After holding the Duo for 10 minutes my 16 Pro Max feels so LONG 😂 Also everyone should just use a magsafe popsocket with it and many problems go away.

Can’t test myself yet, but it’s ready on day one 📱📱
Geeps is ready for iPhone Duo on day one! Chat with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others in a single app. Use your own API keys and any provider ✌️ apps.apple.com/ca/app/geeps-…

Local Apple Store only had 1-2Tb models at opening, so still waiting for my pre-order. The energy was really cool though, lots of people in line, countdown and applause from employees.

These Chinese iPhone reviews are next level 👌

If Apple offers replacement for the inner matte display layer they could also offer the same matte film for the front screen 🤔

Sad 😞 I’d consider Dia if it was also on iOS. But for now Crest browser is a successor for me. It’s not as polished of course, but quite promising
We've decided to sunset Arc on December 22, 2026. That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community. Our priority is to deliver best-in-class security for our members. Keeping a browser secure takes constant, dedicated work that is only increasing in the age of AI. Dia was built from the ground up to meet today’s security standards, so that's where our engineering and security teams will focus moving forward. We've worked to make switching to @diabrowser as easy as possible for Arc members. Here's how: · Your passwords, bookmarks, extensions and history come over to Dia seamlessly. · Spaces, Folders, and Tab Groups are in Dia and import over with your data intact. · Dia now surpasses Arc benchmarks in stability, speed, and security. · The browser features you use in Arc are free in Dia, and the AI is optional. Thank you for using Arc, for pushing us to make it better, and for building alongside us. The team that made Arc is the same team behind Dia, and some of our most ambitious work is just ahead. We'd love for you to be there with us when it lands.

Pretty awesome, great follow up to that colored glass Apple TV logo.

Re-installed openclaw from scratch and starting fresh seems to be much better than trying to update old configs. Still had to get codex to fix some things and overall experience is smoother, but not for noobs
