Mzansi football shame.. 🤣
There was no way Luxolo Badi was giving Simphiwe Selepe a 2nd yellow card, no matter how many caution-worthy fouls he committed. He is a referee whose honour has a price tag. He has zero integrity.
■ Frosler gets a straight yellow for a foul on Moremi within the first 10 minutes. No warning, no talking to, just a yellow.
■ Sibisi commits 2 similar fouls, arguably more aggressive than Frosler's, on Duba and Silva. Not a single yellow card. He gets away with it because Pirates deserve the advantage.
Forget the offside goal that gave Orlando Pirates the lead. The assistant referee was supposed to take charge of that decision. Zakhele Siwela doesn't miss much, but he missed it.
But Simphiwe Selepe should never have played the entire first 45 minutes without being sent off.
■ He committed fouls that stopped promising attacks, was unnecessarily aggressive and repeatedly arrived late in tackles. Yet Luxolo Badi kept looking the other way.
It was clear from the beginning that Pirates were benefiting from some very questionable refereeing decisions.
And, ironically, it was a Kaizer Chiefs player who eventually received a 2nd yellow card. Miguel got a yellow card and eventually sent off for the same fouls Sibisi committed with zero cards given😂😂
This is Luxolo Badi, and yesterday he ensured Pirates win the derby🚮
