For posterity: I predict CI as we know it will change dramatically.
AI agents will want to own their entire feedback loop: building, testing, and validating changes without waiting for a remote CI service triggered by a git push.
Whether that runs locally or in a sandbox doesn't matter. The traditional CI pipeline will cease to exist.
CD? Hmmm...I'm less certain about that.
Making good progress on the sandbox. Dogfooding on another project. Next step is to be able to use it to improve itself.

Finally got annoyed enough with determinate nix (and flakehub). If claude and I couldn't get it to work well then it's a UX issue. Went back to upstream (cpp) nix. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Whenever I think this place can't get more insufferable I'm quickly proven wrong. Thanks for keeping me grounded folks! 😂
Can someone please explain why determinate nix is literally always rebuilding itself on each deploy!? And why is flakehub always unreachable even though I'm authenticated?! Also isn't there a public flakehub cache for this?
How are y'all able to write about what your working on / playing with all the time? I just don't have the energy. I know I should really write about what I've been doing with 'agentctl' but merely googling the name makes me not want to.
I'm kind of fed up with this narrative that Europe doesn't have ACs. Where does this info come from? We do in fact have AC people. We do. It's normal. Stop cherry picking stupid examples and making blanket and fake statements.
I often wonder what AI first infrastructure will look like. Is anyone working on this? I'd love to chat / exchange ideas.
I'm seeing a huge influx of people misunderstand why Effect is useful. Or rather as they put it "why people like it".
Unpopular opinion but man do some of these gitops tools go against the core principles of devops. :-|
Company: We made it easy to backdoor your workstation!
Users: Can you make it MORE easier to backdoor our workstations!?
I mean I kind of get the feature. I want it too...but man oh man are me heading for a security crisis!
I can't emphasize this enough ... you can just build things! I mean sure this was true before - but I'm finding it really fulfilling in the age of AI agents.
