I've been traveling the world a bit. One of the most incredible experiences was getting to visit Taiwan w/ @JensenHuang. It was wild 🤯.. huge crowds of engineers, insanely good street food at night markets, and of course a lot of good conversations across many days. I caught some of it on video, see below. ETH 台北给我们印象最深的其实不是年会，而是那条常年在跑的线：每月一场 Regular Meetup，加上两场小型专题（DeFi TLDR / ZK TLDR），到今天已经累计办了接近五十场，每一场的内容还会整理成文字发在 Substack 上。
这种事情很枯燥，也几乎拿不到什么关注，但正是它把台北的技术讨论沉淀成了可以被后来者翻阅的东西。
今年年会定在 9 月 13–14 日，两天分别是技术主题和机构主题——他们主动把重心放在了让传统金融机构和技术社区真正说上话这件事上，这在今天的行业里其实是更难、也更需要有人去做的选择。

如果可以，我會建議銀行、政府不要再浪費資源打造封閉式區塊鏈。許多企業近期才開始研究區塊鏈，第一直覺往往是建立自己的鏈：速度最快、掌控度最高，規則自己說了算。但花了 7 年學費的摩根大通告訴大家，資產上鏈的最終目的是相互連結。
除非你有把握做得比摩根大通更大，讓客戶、合作夥伴甚至競爭對手，都樂意待在你打造的封閉經濟體。否則最終都會像摩根大通一樣，被客戶推著與外界接軌。很多人以為，最強大的網路是技術最好、最有秩序的那個。其實最強大的網路，只是因為大家都在那裡。

I'm quite pleased to see the new Utah #SEDI draft SB0275 offers a digital bill of rights that starts at the top based on first #SSI principle I wrote 10 years ago:
"(1) An individual possesses an individual identity innate to the individual's existence and independent of the state, which identity is fundamental and inalienable."
