PRODUCT BEFORE THE PUMP SUSTAINS THE PUMP.
My advice to fellow developers building utilities to support their tokens is simple: build products that are better than what people already have.
Do not let anyone gaslight you that you should not build something simply because someone else has already built it. There are many ways to create valuable products for your project.
1. Solve a problem that has not been solved.
Identify a real problem that people face and build a product that addresses it. You may create something completely new that nobody has built before. Uniswap and Ethereum are examples of products that introduced new ideas and created entirely new categories.
2. Build on an existing idea and create your own niche.
You can take an existing concept, improve it, and develop a different product around it. PancakeSwap built on the AMM model popularized by Uniswap, while BNB developed within an ecosystem that was heavily influenced by Ethereum.
3. Build the same type of product, but make it better.
There is nothing wrong with competing directly. Build the same type of product and focus on making the experience better, faster, more secure, or more useful. Dextool existed before Dexscreener. Today, both are recognized products, and users ultimately decide which provides the better experience.
Any developer who wants their product to remain relevant must continue improving it. Technology changes, user expectations change, and competitors improve. A product that stops evolving eventually becomes outdated.
At deNode AI, we build products inspired by solutions that already exist, but our goal is to make them better using the latest technology, stronger security, AI, and the resources available to us. We believe these products can create significant value beyond our immediate community.
Developers should build for the world, not only for their own community. Your community may be the starting point, but the goal should be to create a product that can compete globally.
If your product cannot compete with the products already available, then don't build it.
You cannot download Dai Smart Wallet and not appreciate the experience.
You cannot visit Daiscreener.com and not see the value of having such a product.
Our goal at deNode AI is to build world-class products and take them to the global market. We are not building utilities simply to say that we have utilities. We are building products that people genuinely want to use.
