School of Hard Knocks interviewed Indomie’s CEO who is Indonesian. He said they also own Dano, Kellogg’s, Hypo, Lush, Guinness & Malt. Their biggest competitor is Nestlé, which owns Maggi. He came to Nigeria for a holiday, and they now generate $2B in revenue. 😳

Uber has left Nigeria.
The drivers are still here.
The cars are still here.
The passengers are still here.
What left is the app connecting them.
So, why can’t some smart Nigerian entrepreneurs build another platform and take over the market?
The infrastructure is already here. The market is already here.
Good business opportunity!

If it is company policy to refer to people by their first name, why is the chairman above this policy?
I understand the cultural sentiments, but she’s doing exactly what HR promotes.
If he does not subscribe to it, then it should not be a company policy.
