So proud of the impact @clairecampaign is having. Women are finding connection and voice despite their terrible experiences. Ceri and Jess are sharing their stories so other women survive ❤️
Ceri is living with incurable cervical cancer after being misdiagnosed for years.
Jessica was also repeatedly misdiagnosed and eventually had to have a hysterectomy to survive her cervical cancer.

This article is difficult to read. It shows the devastating and growing impact of diabetes type 2 in Wales. There is an urgent need for a Welsh food strategy, for more focus on prevention and for an ambitious programme of actions to help people eat well. theguardian.com/society/arti…
Over the 12-year period to 2022, @PublicHealthW reported an increase of almost 60,000 people with diabetes - a 40% rise. “If current trends continue,” PHW warned recently, “by 2035/36 we estimate that around 1 in 11 adults will be living with diabetes in Wales.”

It feels good to be going to the Eisteddfod today in Pontypridd with so much Welsh being spoken around me in this part of Wales, people swapping languages without thinking and with the @tfwrail service being bilingual as usual. Year 2 of Welsh classes start for me next month!
