To properly criticize the Cowboys' front office, it's important to actually know what they do. Jerry Jones has far less to do with roster construction than many realize.
If you don't like...
the coaches - blame Jerry
how they spend money - blame Stephen
the players - blame Will

#nationalcoachesday There’s so much experience and accomplishments that it’d knock your socks off.
These people put kids 1st. They’re great mentors. Great friends. Great spouses and significant others.
They just happen to be great coaches, too.

First, I stopped responding to people I don’t respect.
Then, I stopped trying to explain myself to people who benefit from misunderstanding me.
Finally, I stopped giving my attention to people I wouldn’t choose to sit across from at dinner.
Once you remove the noise, there really isn’t much left to respond to… because the people who matter aren’t the ones doing goofy shii.

You know you have a great dog, when they understand how much of a fun game this is and that they know that it is a game.

I heard a billionaire was asked one question in a street interview: “What’s the best advice you’d give your younger self?” He didn't talk about money or hustle. He said, “If a bird lands on a branch, does the bird trust the branch… or does it trust its wings?” Jobs can disappear, people can leave, money can run out, and circumstances can change. The branch was never the point. Build your skills, your character, and your ability to adapt. Trust your wings.

You have to be very, very careful with people who have lost parents, siblings or children. When someone experiences that level of loss, it changes how they see everything. Things that used to matter suddenly don't. They have less patience for fake energy, meaningless relationships or anything that destroys their peace. Because losing someone that's close doesn't just shatter your heart. It changes parts of who you are. Some storms don't just break branches, they change the way the tree grows forever. They move differently, they love differently, even behind their biggest smiles there's a way most people will never understand. Grief doesn't simply disappear with time. You just learn how to carry it. That's why they value real connections differently. I know firsthand that someone you love can be here today and gone tomorrow. So when they protect their peace, their energy, and the people they love. Understand where it comes from because they've already experienced what it feels like to lose someone they thought they'd have forever.

Tonight, he did 394 total pushups in K-State's 71-3 win over Nicholls. #Math
