Nvidia is now a humanoid robot designer. That's the real takeaway from this news.
Nvidia is acquiring Hugging Face for $12.93B. Hugging Face is the largest open-model and dataset hub, the "GitHub of AI," with 3M+ models and 18M+ developers, robotics included.
But here's the interesting part: Hugging Face has a serious robotics team from its acquisition of Pollen Robotics, which designs and builds open-source hardware platforms for robots, including humanoids (Reachy).
Pollen team now gets the backing of the world's most valuable company. $NVDA

Announcing the new SIWE.xyz
Sign in with Ethereum (ERC-4361) is the standard that powers the bridge between web2 and web3 for thousands of crypto (and non crypto) apps.
Our goal is to make sovereign cryptography a default option for authentication on the web.
We should own our finances, and we should own our web accounts. SIWE makes that possible, while ensuring users have great UX when doing so.
Already used by millions, including the likes of OpenRouter, Polymarket, MetaMask, Privy, OpenSea, and many many more.
The libraries we develop and support enable apps and wallets to seamlessly integrate the SIWE standard. If you have any questions or need help integrating, please reach out to any of us:
@caveman_onchain ([email protected]), @jalilwahdat ([email protected]), @yougogirl_eth ([email protected]).
Looking forward to working together on improving Ethereum UX.

How ENS can grow exponentially soon and push web3 to mainstream adoption
1. Uniswap is currently issuing uni.eth subdomains at a very fast rate, with over 100k subs in a span of 3 days
2. Not only do free gasless subs make the wallet creation process more convenient for users, but the wallet provider also gets free on-chain marketing
Every app where people with uni.eth subdomains connect their wallet, Uniswap gets promoted
3. Now look at this from the point of view of wallet providers that don't issue subs yet
They suffer from a competitive disadvantage by offering a significantly worse user experience and missing out on the marketing that their competitors are getting for free
Every new wallet users create through their platform could have been free on-chain marketing, so there is incentive to start issuing subs as soon as possible
As @player1 mentioned, most of the big wallet providers already own an ENS they can use for subs (Metamask has mask.eth, Phantom has phantom.eth etc.)
There is every reason to start issuing subdomains and no reason not to
4. After the most important wallet providers start issuing subs, almost every new wallet created will not be identified by a string of letters but by a human-readable ENS name
These names will have two components (let's say your wallet name is james.uni.eth): your personal identity (james) and the identity of the issuer (Uniswap)
At this point, there will be wars about who can get the biggest part of the second component
5. Other web3 brands will start to join in and get their part; after all, it's free marketing
Incentives might even be offered to use their subs over others
6. Then the web2 brands that have already dabbled with web3 will see this trend and want a piece as well
Lots of them already own their .eth name, but they can easily import a DNS name and use that as well (similarly to Coinbase)
7. As soon as web2 brands start issuing subdomains, they are a very small step removed from integrating SIWE
SIWE is pretty much the bridge between web2 and web3, so once a few large platforms start integrating it, mainstream adoption is not far away either
Add to that that web3 is already much more user friendly at that point thanks to human-readable ENS names, which is essential for the average person to be able to use web3
There are an awful lot of assumptions here, of course, but if they hold, ENS will go parabolic

Free gasless ENS subdomains are about to take over
What are the implications?
Right now less than 1% of Ethereum addresses have an ENS name
When enough wallet providers follow Uniswap's example and start to implement free gasless ENS subdomains, at some point almost every new wallet created will have an ENS name
Using strings of letters and numbers instead of an ENS name will become like typing in an IP address to visit a website
Now a lot of people ask:
How do our ENS bags benefit from this?
Do our regular ENS names get diluted now?
Getting a subdomain without spending any gas is only possible because the name is stored off-chain, meaning you still don't have full control over it, contrary to your regular ENS name
In addition, a subdomain like james.uni.eth is still not as clean and simple of a identity as james.eth
You can see these subdomains as a great stepping stone for users to get familiar with having a human-readable name as their web3 identity instead of a string of letters and numbers
Once they see how it works, plenty will want to pay to get a simpler ENS name that they actually own
Even if 10% of new wallet users (and it's probably more) will want to upgrade their subdomain to a regular trustless ENS name, this is already a gigantic increase in demand relative to what it is now
Most importantly, having a human-readable name makes the web3 experience much easier and more pleasant for the average person, which can greatly accelerate mainstream adoption overall and web3 growth equals ENS growth
