ok safe to say binance is pwned
The biggest assets were approximately:
• 1.615B USDT
• 62.6M RLUSD
• 29,934 wBETH
• 11,372 XAUt
• 6.19M UNI
• 198.4M ENA
• 7.175T PEPE
• 27.8M USD1
• 2.26M LINK
• 127,853 AAVE
about $2.5B at the explorer’s prices.
1. The attacker deployed a delegate contract, 0x63e842b0...73e9c6fAe, from the relayer at 15:59 UTC.
2. About four hours later, the relayer submitted an EIP-7702 authorization transaction
That installed the malicious 7702 delegate code on Binance 14.
3. The relayer then made a call to Binance 14, executing the delegate code, and transferring Binance 14’s ETH and token balances.
4. The calldata is labeled sweep(address, address[]). The second argument is a list of recognizable token-contract addresses plus the zero-address (eth).
5. The same relayer later used the same delegate to move 780M USDC from Binance Hot Wallet 34 into the same pool
• The relayer 0x7C... was funded by three Tornado Cash 0.1 ETH withdrawals over the prior two days.
• The same pool also received 28,005.6 ETH from Binance 16 24 seconds after the main sweep.
• The pool then forwarded 195,460 ETH to a fresh, unlabeled EOA
• That EOA has only one transaction and currently holds the 195,460 ETH.
What's a bit unclear is why the relayer was needed in the first place. If they had the private keys to the Binance wallets, they could have just sent the assets out in an atomic bundle without needing a relayer at all.
So it seems likely that they didn't have the private keys and instead just had the 7702 auth signatures, which must have been phished somehow.
I think we can go ahead and assume DPRK.

An Anthropic engineer watched my screen from the next table at a cafe in SF.
"Are you running Claude against live prediction markets right now"
I told him yes.
Then I showed him the stack.
214 trades. 74% win rate. +$9,437 in 19 days.
Here's what actually happened:
I gave Claude two repos and a simple job.
Three commands. 500+ markets. No API key. Just a clean way to score the board fast.
The system does not try to predict the world.
It tries to find which wallets consistently exit better than the crowd, isolate the pattern, and only fire when the same structure shows up again.
Main filter:
captured value / expected value > 0.70
If a wallet wins often but leaks the move on exit, it gets ignored.
If it captures most of the move and cuts losers fast, it becomes signal.
Sizing uses Kelly:
f* = (p*b - q) / b
That is what stops the terminal from apeing into weak edges.
Most of the time it does nothing.
No edge - no position.
Three trades from the run:
> AMD Xilinx - entered 52c. Model said 59c. Closed +7c in 2h40m.
> Artemis launch - entered 63c. Model said 85c. Closed +22c in 5h10m.

Expected the usual. Index funds. High yield savings. Maybe stocks.
Instead Claude said something I wasn't ready for.
Find a prediction market bot on GitHub that buys events priced under 3 cents. Deploy it with $1,000. Let it run for 30 days. Most bets will lose. The ones that hit will pay 500x.
I laughed. Then Claude added one line:

I searched.

Claude explained the math:
$15 on 100 events at 1 cent. 99 die. You lose $1,485. One hits. Pays $1,500. Break even. Two hit? You double. Three? Triple.
planktonXD found more than three. $1,000 → $98,241.
I asked Claude: Should I copy this?
Claude: I can't give financial advice. But mathematically the edge exists as long as the crowd overprices fear and underprices chaos.
I put in $100 that night. Copied 12 positions under 2 cents. Went to sleep.
Woke up. One hit. $100 → $673.
I didn't ask Claude for stock picks. I asked where $1,000 goes the furthest. It pointed me to a wallet that turned that exact amount into $98K.
53,700 people are watching. The bot is still running. Bio still says having fun.
I asked Claude one more thing: What would you name this strategy?
Claude: Buying lottery tickets where the math is on your side.
