1983 inspired an entire generation to dream big and chase those dreams. 🏏
Today, our Women’s Cricket Team has done something truly special. They have inspired countless young girls across the country to pick up a bat and ball, take the field and believe that they too can lift that trophy one day. 🏆
This is a defining moment in the journey of Indian women’s cricket.
Well done, Team India. You’ve made the whole nation proud. 🇮🇳 💙

No nation should have to accept terrorist attacks being launched against it from land controlled by another country.
India is justified in striking terrorist infrastructure. There can be no impunity for terrorists.

The lives of cricketers have become so intrusive that cameras are now recording every step and conversation we are having in privacy with our friends and colleagues, at training or on match days.
Despite asking Star Sports to not record my conversation, it was and was also then played on air, which is a breach of privacy. The need to get exclusive content and focused only on views and engagement will one day break the trust between the fans, cricketers and cricket.
Let better sense prevail.

From being 2-0 down to drawing level, England's tenacity in this #Ashes series is a tribute to the beauty of Test cricket. The ability to rebound demonstrates the depth of character and the mental fortitude this format demands. Mother Nature might have denied us a series result, but that didn’t dampen the spirit of this incredible game.
A series to remember for a long long time.

Shed a small tear of pride for our heroes who fought and who laid down their lives in all their glory for our tomorrow.
They fought at heights over 18k feet, inhospitable rugged terrain ,steep mountains. The Nation rose above their own self. #KargilVijayDiwas ! Jai Hind

It was raining heavily when I parked my car beside a traffic signal near court circle udaipur, where I saw an old uncle selling hot samosa and poha. I placed an order and curiously asked him why he didn't take a rest today, considering his age. He told me something that completely changed my perspective on work.
“Beta, main ab is umra mein paise ke liye kaam nahi karta. Main apne dil ko khush rakhne ke liye kaam karta hun. Ghar par akela baithne se yahan baithna behtar hai. Jab main chaar logon ke khush chehre dekhta hun, jo mere khane ka swaad lete hain, to mera dil khushi se bhar jata hai”
While the whole world cribs about work, some people are writing stories of their retirement. <3
