Now, a former federal immigration judge says that if investigators establish she used a false identity, government documents she has signed over the years could face scrutiny, from passport applications to voting records.
Omar has not been charged with a crime and maintains she has done nothing wrong.

Florida foreclosure filings in the first half of 2026 hit 24,032 - above the same period in 2019 (22,923) for the first time since COVID. Statewide they're up 39% from last year.
Where it's accelerating fastest:
Charlotte County +100%
Collier County +119%
Polk County +92%
The absolute level is still nothing like 2008. The direction and speed are what I'm watching.
