There is no mandate. And obviously, no leadership either. You are supporting a dictator who is working against the Constitution and the laws of the United States.

Unqualified and stupid. She doesn't know one thing about education.

Obviously he knows not one single thing about farming. I lived through the 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and 10s on the farm. I know what's about to happen again, and it's not good. NO SALE! NO SALE! (channeling Jessica Lange)

Most un-American, pro-Russian display in American history. Trump and Vance are not Americans, and if you support this trash talk in the Oval Office, than neither are you.

Birthright citizenship cannot be undone by an executive order. Read the Constitution folks.

This hell site is making us all stupid. Trump doesn't have the ability to revoke the EEO (1972) or title VII of the civil rights act (1964). He rolled back Executive Order 11246 of 1965 which while shitty, only applies to federal contractors.

Civil Rights Act of 1964 is codified law and cannot be undone with an executive order.

I think AI can be a great tool . . . I'm on the same quest! They need to see it as a leaning tool, not a way to get out of doing the critical thinking for themselves. Let's keep in touch and shoot out ideas!

Nothing that would compare to a discussion board. Probably insert some paper/pencil quizzes again. I did already go back to an in-person Blue Book for one assignment in place of a Canvas assign. And full-on paper/pencil final exams. This all makes me so tired. Motivation Where?

So many assignment formats are now unavailable options because of AI. I have tried to keep discussion boards going. But, alas, RIP. No more.

No, the president is NEVER above the law. If there is doubt about that, the United States of America already ceases to exist.

I had the honor of working with Jessica and NCHE this week & loved meeting fellow Kansas teachers! Thanks for your hard work everyday to integrate our collective histories into your classrooms and thank you to @historyed for your dedication to truth. ❤️
History teachers, your resilience in guiding students through complex, emotional times like elections is invaluable. Keep fostering truth, democracy, and compassion. We’re in this together.

My students are exploring the experiences of Chinese immigrants in the West after the Exclusion Act in my Gilded Age class today ... so fun to highlight @drjagodinsky and her amazing Petitioning for Freedom Project! @UNLHistory @DigLegalRschLab #habeascorpus
