WHY SOME CHRISTIANS STRUGGLE TO BREAK FREE FROM SIN ‼️
Here are two strategies Satan often employs:
1. He prolongs the season of temptation by making repentance seem difficult.
After you sin, you're overwhelmed with regret for breaking your consecration. At first, this...

Christians are always put on the spot to answer the problem of evil, while other worldviews get a pass.
This is probably because only Christianity offers reasonable solutions, and the fuss made against it is itself an attempt to confirm its truth.

Many people don't actually understand what it means to believe in God or believe in Jesus.
Ask them, “Do you believe in God?” and they’ll confidently say, “Yes.”
But ask the very next question, “What does it mean to believe in God?”, and they struggle to answer.
Someone even said to me, “Even Satan believes in God.”
No. Satan knows that God exists, but biblical faith is more than acknowledging God's existence.
James 2:19 says:
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
Demons have knowledge of God. They acknowledge His existence. They even tremble before Him.
But they do not believe in Him in the sense of trusting, submitting to, and following Him.
Biblical faith is not merely believing that God exists. It is trusting Him, receiving His Word, and responding to Him in obedient faith.

If the atheists are right, I have lived my life well and will happily drift into nothingness.
If the atheists are wrong, I have lived my life well and will happily go into heaven.
What if the atheists are wrong ? How have you lived your life ??

Nobody who finds himself in hell will be surprised; and none of us who make it to heaven will stand there and think “yea I deserved this”.

The conversation around miracles and public response has two sides.
First, there is the self gratifying response some Christians have toward their man of God or their fellowship when a miracle occurs. Sometimes, the miracle becomes more about celebrating the minister, ministry, or fellowship than glorifying God. This has understandably given some people a basis to question the claims of consistency and ability often associated with such ministries.
Second, there are the unsurprising attacks from non Christians, as well as unreasonable attacks from Christians who, for one reason or another, have become uncomfortable with the miraculous.
But beyond all these reactions, one truth remains:
God is greater than our natural limitations.
And if God is truly God, then miracles are not beyond His ability.
The fact that we cannot explain something naturally does not make it impossible for God.
The fact that some people have abused or misrepresented miracles does not make genuine miracles impossible.
And the fact that some Christians have exaggerated the role of ministers does not mean we should deny the supernatural altogether.
We must learn to separate God from men, the miracle from the minister, and biblical truth from human excesses.
God can still do what human strength, wisdom, and natural limitations cannot accomplish.
The excesses of men do not reduce the sovereignty of God.

I actually think being Spirit-filled sets you up for a lot of "misery" and sobriety in the present world.
Yes, you will have the joy that caused Paul to rejoice even in prison, but you will also grieve a lot over the backslidings of the church and hurt a lot in godly jealousy for the Bride of Christ.
It seems like it's the carnal Christians who are always happy as long as they can have a fun time in every church service.

Long story short‼️
Using drugs doesn't inherently mean you don't have faith. Because medicine properly understood is also God's sovereign provision for healing.

Not every "faith position" is a biblical position.
In 2022, I came across the claim that while doctors prescribe medicine, a pastor's assignment is only to direct people's faith to the power of God. Therefore, it was argued, pastors should never recommend medical treatment...

I have not believed because I was born into Christianity.
I have remained because I became convinced.
Convinced that Christ is who He claimed to be.
Convinced that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
Convinced that no one transforms lives like Jesus.

"You only believe in Christianity because you were born into it."‼️‼️
I've heard that statement many times.
My response is simple:
Being born into the Christian faith introduced me to it.
It did not force me to believe it.
As I grew older, I realized that inherited...

The salvation of Israel from Egypt beautifully foreshadows the salvation we have in Christ.

Those of you in Nigeria that drink from this stream, just know this is what your future looks like.
Meanwhile, if you’re reading this and you have a testimonial of when the Holy Spirit led you and you knew this was the Holy Spirit and you’re willing to share it please do it in the comments. I’ll go first.
While doing my NYSC in Gombe I was praying and asking the Lord what the next phase of my life was going to be like.
It so happened that I had the option of staying back at the hospital where I served or move to the UK just immediately after my service year or go wherever, but since I wasn’t sure, I had to rely completely on the Lord.
The Holy Spirit was quite clear with me, my destination was to be Ibadan.
At the time I had no home or job in Ibadan.
I had no idea how I was going to sustain myself. All I knew was that God wanted me to return tonight Ibadan.
I did. The night I arrived at Iwo road a sister came and got me, bless her she had bought me dinner. She drove me to where I spent the night. I had no idea how long I was going to stay there. All I knew was I was obeying the Holy Spirit. Of course my parents were livid. Who finishes NYSC and doesn’t return home.
I had very difficult phone calls with Dad that period.
Well, four days after I arrived Ibadan I had a job, it was the job I did until I left the city 6 years later.
Two weeks after I arrived I moved into a 3 bedroom flat.
It was from that city I married and got blessed with a son. It was from that city I was able to raise disciples for Jesus.
Looking back, I knew like I knew my name that God was directing me back to Ibadan.
I know this because the Spirit in me is a person that speaks. And I know his intention is to lead the sons of God.
"One of the follies of the Charismatic movement is to say that the Holy Spirit is leading me, or that the Holy Spirit is directing me. You have no way to know that. I have no way to know that. I don't have a red light on my head that goes around when it's the Holy Spirit and goes off when it's just me." —John MacArthur
