If Rhyne woulda hit that lay off the AR no-look, Game 4 would be at Mercedes-Benz because the fans woulda tore the roof off of State Farm.

The NFL has concluded that the process surrounding Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts being cleared to play in Week 5 with a superficial blood clot “was handled appropriately,” a league source tells @TheAthletic nytimes.com/athletic/7708077…

“When the opportunity has been present, the black bourgeoisie has exploited the Negro masses as ruthlessly as have whites. …They have never dared think beyond a narrow, opportunistic philosophy that provided a rationalization for their own advantages.” — E. Franklin Frazier

Why hasn’t the Black elite class advocated to form a Black political party?

Today is Monday & my frustration w/folks that do panels, festivals, award shows, & interviews about inner city issues yet only show up to TALK about the work needed to be done. Especially during voting cycles.

Black men have the worst response rate from elected officials, I wonder why they might be disengaged from voting…

Hundreds of thousands of Black men are sitting out elections in Ohio. Almost no one is asking them why. ms.now/news/ohio-black-men-v…

A not-so-hidden electorate could swing Ohio, if only it voted

MS NOW spent time in the former swing state and found only modest efforts to reach young Black men, thousands of whom could vote but don’t.

I don’t want to understate Angel Reese’s skill set but her force of will has defined this game. It’s been amazing to watch. (She just grabbed a FOH rebound as I typed this.)

I don’t really care for all the people wishing Americans protested like the French because when there was a nation-wide protest that started from Black people challenging police brutality, a lot of people were cheering on the police and state kidnapping and running people over

Given everything that's happened with Jalen Hurts, I thought it was best to speak with a physician—a Black woman physician. Like many other Eagles fans, she doesn't play about QB1 either. 👩🏾‍⚕️🩺 phillytrib.com/news/local_ne…

What a Philly doc is saying about factors that may have led to Hurts’ diagnosis

When Delana Wardlaw, M.D. of the Twin Sister Docs in Philadelphia, heard that Eagles quarterback will remain sidelined indefinitely with blood clots that could cost him the rest of the

Truth is, Jalen Hurts deserves quality and humane healthcare whether he’s a Super Bowl champ or not. Good healthcare shouldn’t need a qualifier — and that includes employment. Hope this helps.

I am quite enjoying this SEC Survivor Series.

Golden opportunity missed for the Dream. Those last few possessions were a tough watch.

Dream players gotta be more deliberate on screen & roll. Offense looks great when everyone is moving, but when players are picking up their dribble near the key? It’s a mess.

Angel Reese gon be hell in this series. Running the floor, playing with physicality. And her energy is contagious.

Shaping up to be the best day of college football this season. Texas and Indiana have already hosted a couple of thrillers.
58
Indiana needing a toe touch TD to en route to winning a national championship and losing today on a toe touch blunder is poetry. Bad ball by the QB though. Buckeyes cheat death.

We found Wu-Tang's infamous 1-of-1 album, "Once Upon A Time in Shaolin" — once purchased by pharma bro Martin Shkreli — and played it for Method Man (and you) for the first time.
